  • A wonderful, peaceful jem.

"For anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable vacation, this is the place to go. From the moment you pull into the driveway, Camp Auskerada catches your heart. Chris the owner, has poured his heart into this cabin which shows in every inch of the cabin. His attention to detail has made this cabin one of the best vacation cabins that we have found in Adirondack's after looking for days on the web. This was our second stay at Auskerada and was by far the best so far. Chris was there whenever we needed him. We scored big with over two feet of snow and Chris was always keeping the driveway clear for us and always making sure that our needs were met. Our two kids loved the cabin as well, wishing it was there's to keep. We highly recommend this cabin for any family or even a couple looking for a retreat. We will definitely be vacationing to Camp Auskerada again and again in the future."

  • Weekend to get away from it all

"Simply an amazing and relaxing weekend! This cabin was everything that we were looking for and more! I loved the environment, so close to the Adirondacks tucked right into the woods, but close enough to easily travel to many nearby locations. The design of the cabin was stunning, that made us feel immediately comfortable once arriving. Not to mention the air conditioning, tv, wifi, and every kitchen utensil you may ever need. These amenities were able to give us the perfect rustic cabin feel, while also knowing we have everything we need. Chris was more than helpful during our time there and that made the stay that much more enjoyable, knowing that we had someone to count on in the off chance that we needed any help. I would recommend staying here to anyone, great location and unbeatable pricing."

  • Endless Memories no accessories needed...

"We arrived and met Liane our lovely host who gave a quick tour of the cottage. it was PERFECT... it had everything we needed, cable, TV, WiFi, and landline phone for the "just in case" situation that never arose. There were electrical outlets anywhere you would want one which is nice with all the cell phones, e-readers, tablets and laptops we travel with. The kitchen was well equipped with coffee maker, microwave and toaster oven along with all the other comforts of home. just bring food and beverages and your all set. The downstairs bedroom was comfortable and brought back memories of years gone by. the upstairs was a large open room with 2 twin beds and a full bed. all linens and towels were provided which made traveling and settling in a lot easier. What a fun week at Camp... A big Thank You to our Host Liane. Joe D"

"Very cozy, well appointed, clean, linens newer and a screened in room to die for. Nothing fancy , but modern convienences. We spent most, if not all of, our inside time in that room. We put a puzzle on the coffee table and it everyone took at it turn daily. Great for early morning and evening sitting, quietly ,looking at the Great Sacandaga Lake. We sat out there during a torrential downpour too. The camp is very shaded so the room always stayed cool. My nephews are at that age where they don't want their parents around but still need supervision. The second guest house, phrased by Jane , the owner, "The Pool House". It has a pool table, fridge, microwave, and small TV . PERFECT for teenagers!!!! They loved the independence and us parents loved that they had their own space. Great , great, part of this camp!! The dock was long enough for the 20' party boat we rented for the week and the beach was great too. The boys swam, paddled, and kayaked to the small island across from the dock. Again, another great feature of this property. Very unique!!! The owners are very easy to work with and very attentive to making sure your stay is everything you imagined it could be. The pictures of the property were just as it was when we arrived. No surprises. Always a concern with sight unseen. You can't go wrong with this one. Not the usual camp on the lake. We also brought our family pet. Again, some of the pet friendly properties you wouldn't want your pet in. Not this one !!! Thanks Jane and Carl for letting us enjoy your camp on the lake."
