  • The Views Are Incredible!

"This cottage was more than we expected! Direct lakeside access with a canoe to take out anytime, driftwood fires on the beach in the evening, swimming during the day, and a patio to take in the views from the comfort of a lounge chair. We also loved the screened porch and 3 sliding doors that let in the cool breeze. The Simino's are very kind hosts, they even promptly mailed us back something we forgot. How nice is that! We definitely recommend staying here and we will be back in the future!"

  • Spectacular location, wonderful gathering place for family!

"My husband had to pry me out of my favorite Adirondack chair down by the lake after we spent five weeks here in this lovely spot. The location is near lovely towns and farms, discovered on beautiful roads in the most peaceful setting with boats going in and out all day to the nearby (hidden) marina. I hiked, my husband golfed at three nearby courses, we entertained family (including a passel of grandkids) and friends (whom I also had to pry out of their chairs). The Foster-Provencher family were very helpful and lovely to deal with. Highly recommend this spot and we hope to come back someday. And don't miss nearby Goodies Snack Bar!"

  • What a wonderful place

"Beautiful cabin on Lake Champlain. Wonderful open plan but with private bedrooms. Great kitchen for cooking a good meal. Decks all around for watching sunset over the lake and hearing the loons call. The cabin is in a beautiful secluded area with lots of walks within short driving distance and back roads for exploring. Don't forget to check out the amazing Shelburne Museum about 10 miles away. One thing that I really loved was the sense of history the place has. It's thoroughly modernized, but you can tell the house has been loved and appreciated by the people who have owned it."

  • ideal, rustic get-away

"The camp is wonderful. Situated just a few yards above Lake Champlain, with a lovely grassy, sloping yard down to the waters edge. All the comforts of home, only more quiet, serene with a gorgeous view. The bed is comfortable, the shower hot, the sofa soft. Kitchen is well equipped, especially if your answer to dinner is, "we'll eat out tonight honey." If you want to picnic there is a good grill. If you want to get out on the lake small water crafts are available. There is a wood stove for when it's cool and an air conditioner for when it's hot. We loved it, we love the Long Point area. Out of the way, but close to everything from Middlebury, & Vergennes to Burlington, VT."
