  • An amazing experience!

"We spent a week in this house with two married children and their families. There were 6 young children, ranging in age from eight months to nine years old. We had high expectations coming in but they were exceeded by this unique and spectacular house. The entire experience, from booking until departure, was a pleasure, with both Doug and Susan concerned about every detail and eager to ensure that each of us would have a wonderful and memorable experience. Susan was very helpful throughout our visit. The house itself is spacious, beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The grounds are immaculate. No detail is missed in making sure guests of all ages are comfortable and enjoy themselves. There are so many things to do in the house that one is reluctant to leave, despite all the wonderful attractions and activities in the area. We are eager to return at any time of the year to once again enjoy this beautiful home and setting."

  • Beautiful little cottage on the lake

"Beautiful little cottage, only a few feet from the water. Perfect size for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 young teens). Clean and well-appointed, the cottage had everything we needed and owners were very nice and accessible if we had questions. Water is crystal clear and swimming and tubing is easily done from the dock, which is only a few feet from the cottage. Nice deck overlooking the water. Canoe and kayaks are available for exploring the lake and islands. The living room also provides a nice view of the lake thanks to large windows. Bolton Landing is 14 miles south and has a few shops and restaurants. Ticonoderoga is 15 minutes north and has the fort, some shops and a great BBQ place. You're far enough from Lake George Village to be out of the super-touristy, congested, area, but close enough to visit it when you want to. So no complaints and will definitely rent here again if we're ever back in this area."
