  • Spectacular log cabin!!

"I can't say enough about your home. We were so taken with the natural beauty and ambiance you have created. I wish there had been one more bathroom as there were 8 of us, but that wouldn't stop me from returning again in the near future. You almost felt like you never wanted to leave the was absolutely perfect...."

  • Front row seat to paradise

"This was our second trip and already talking about a third. It is next to impossible to put it all into words. It is simply perfection,,,!,, Marta goes up and beyond to accommodate your wishes. The house itself is pure luxury. It is almost like someone stepped into your dreams and then built it! All your cares fly out the door the second you walk in Plan to be wowed, plan to unwind, plan on going back!! Till next time..... Thank you so much!!!!"

  • Fantastic for a Family Get-Away!

"The house was exactly right for our one-week, ten-person family vacation. I'd absolutely recommend it to family and friends, and depending on the size of our group next year we will absolutely consider staying here again! Pros: - Tons to do within an hour's drive (Fort Ticonderoga, lakes/ponds/rivers galore, hiking, towns of Lake Placid/Bolton Landing/Lake George/Saratoga Springs, etc.) - On a "perfect" river with a little "beach"; slow relatively warm water good for limited swimming / quick dunks as well as canoeing/tubing (we put in at the property and ~ 5 hours later pulled out at County Home Bridge Rd a few miles downstream) - Huge, HUGE grassy backyard perfect for games - Fantastic porch for outdoor meals - Two car garage converted into two game rooms - Two kitchens (for us that was a plus because we used both refrigerators) - Secluded and private - Fire pit next to the river - Toys for toddlers (play house, kid pool, etc.) - Responsive owners/managers - Pet friendly - I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff - WiFi (which is really a good thing to have, since many of us, especially those with AT&T lacked cell service here...which I'm putting down as a PRO!!!) - Clean and well-maintained Cons - Property secluded, but can still hear highway when outdoors, even later at night (note: not a big issue outdoors, and not an issue at all when inside) - Found a few stray pieces of broken glass near fire pit - No outdoor location to put out trash"

  • Amazing location!

"Location, location, location. The home is lovely with a great deck. The living room is extremely comfortable with a new couch and matching ez-chairs. Practically everything you need to cook and enjoy the home 24 hours a day is at your disposal. We swam in the little cove, ate meals on the deck and enjoyed the adirondack chairs. Even ate on the covered deck during an amazing thunderstorm. Nice shopping in Bolton Landing and free concerts. Close to Fort Ticonderoga. A few restaurants in the neighborhood, although we only ate out once since we were enjoying the house so much. And the stars at night! I could go on... Owner is very attentive and caretaker is available if needed."
