  • Beautiful little cottage on the lake

"Beautiful little cottage, only a few feet from the water. Perfect size for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 young teens). Clean and well-appointed, the cottage had everything we needed and owners were very nice and accessible if we had questions. Water is crystal clear and swimming and tubing is easily done from the dock, which is only a few feet from the cottage. Nice deck overlooking the water. Canoe and kayaks are available for exploring the lake and islands. The living room also provides a nice view of the lake thanks to large windows. Bolton Landing is 14 miles south and has a few shops and restaurants. Ticonoderoga is 15 minutes north and has the fort, some shops and a great BBQ place. You're far enough from Lake George Village to be out of the super-touristy, congested, area, but close enough to visit it when you want to. So no complaints and will definitely rent here again if we're ever back in this area."

  • Perfect!

"Great place for a relaxing vacation. Everything you need is provided. Great location; short distance from Rutland. Where you can find anything you may have left at home. The view from the house is perfect! I'll be looking into another stay next year."

  • Nice place, beautiful view !

"We rented the Bay Pines for 3 days, it was quite a cozy stay for 5 people, the beds could be more comfortable, waking up every morning with the breathtaking view of the sun reflecting on the lake and the light bouncing on the colorful trees of autumn. The camp is not far from a nice hiking spot to get to Pharaoh Lake. We really enjoyed our weekend, we would recommend anyone who wants to have a nice stay to go to Brant Lake!"

  • The perfect setting for our family vacation!!!!

"Our family enjoyed a second stay at this beautiful home recently, and it was every bit as special as we remembered from our first visit a few years back. It is a warm and inviting home with an exquisite view of the lake from most rooms. We were extremely comfortable staying here, and found the location perfect for so many nearby activities. We kept very busy swimming in the lake from conveniently located public points, kayaking in the Northwest Bay, hiking the nearby trails. Nearby day trips include The Adirondack Museum, Fort Ticonderoga, and the Ausable Chasm. After all the fun, it was great to have such a well-equipped and comfortable home to come back to. We made many wonderful family memories on this vacation, and thank Millie & John for being so helpful and such a pleasure!"
