"Upon walking in the door, everyone's jaw hit the floor due to how nice this place is and how impressed we were that this is a genuine log cabin. The house was big enough to accommodate all 11 adults with regard to bedding. The explanation of the rooms was a bit confusing. We did not realize that the master bedroom was not enclosed and had an opening that led to the area with four twin beds. This was not an issue for us, but something someone expecting privacy in those rooms should know. Amy was very thorough with providing us info such as things to do, places to eat, etc., many of which we did and were very pleased with. The house is very clean, with minor ware and tear. Prior to getting to the house Amy communicated various aspects of the house, including the water limit, the no shoe policy, and info on firewood. Some of this info would also benefit being put on the site as we had to plan according esp when it came to showers (which involved couples showering together to conserve water). While not a big deal, it did prove concerning at times as we did many activities which involved us doing an activity, coming home to shower, and then go out again (such as for dinner) - not an easy task for 11 adults in one bathroom and limited supply/pressure. While the tv was not working and the second bathroom was not completed, it did not take away from our stay. The cabin is a great place to have as a home base and to sit outside to see so many stars! We look forward to staying here again in the future."
