  • A wonderful Adirondack Getaway

"Stayed for a weekend ski trip with friends. The house is absolutely stunning and not too far from Gore Mountain. The homeowner provided information on different activities that the little town has to offer if your not a skier or snowboarder. We had an amazing time and will be back."

  • Fantastic Trip

"We had a wonderful stay at Camp-Home. Everything in the cabin worked as advertised, and the cozy setting was perfect for a winter get away. Great trails just outside the front door and spectacular views all around. A great property and home!"

  • Great spot for family vacation

"We rented Kenikee for a weeklong getaway for a 2 families with young kids (ages 2-7) and 2 sets of grandparents. We had a great time. It was our first time staying at Lake George, though we visited a few of its villages a few years ago. The lake itself is fantastic. If you can get out on a boat, the lake is just magnificent. My dad didn't want to leave and was talking about whether we could rent the place for two weeks next year or the year after. The house was great as well; our kids spent most of the week on the dock or in the kayaks or my dad's boat. Great swimming and wading area by the dock. We had a pretty major issue with our boat engine that warranted a repair and Snug Harbor marine folks (8 minutes up the road) had it back to us in 36 hours. The house was well appointed and has a good kitchen for cooking (with good kitchenware as well!). Great sitting space out by the lake. Incredible sunsets. Very close to Ticonderoga and an easy drive to many attractions. Lots to do, and close to Vermont as well. Really a great counterpoint to the busy spots on the southern part of the lake. You wouldn't know you're on the same lake as Lake George village, but you can still get to the tourist areas easily if you like. It was just what we wanted and we'd definitely stay again."

  • Great family vacation spot on Lake Champlain

"Owners Christine and Bill were very nice people willing to make our stay the best possible. Beautiful spot on Lake Champlain. The pictures don't do the view justice. Close to lots of activities. General Store and excellent ice cream stand just down the road was convenient. We didn't need to bring much other than our food, drinks, and clothes because the owners kept the home well supplied. TV with Netflix and Amazon was great for movie nights and for the kids favorite shows."
