  • Fantastic, unique, inspiring...

"Just arrived home from a stay at Singing Mountain and all I can say is "Wow." I knew the cabin would be great based on the reviews and pictures, but quite honestly, they do not tell the whole story. You have to experience it first hand. The drive up to the property and the initial look-see was so exciting, even my dog was amazed. We enjoyed the deck, pond and wildlife very much. It is equipped with everything you need relax, regain and restore. I didn't think about work once (and that's a first). The unique architecture, private setting, access to all the sights, hikes, and attractions the area offers are worth noting. If you stay, you'll also note the cool objects displayed throughout the cabin and surrounding property that make you think and wonder "where did this come from?!" I agree with many of the other reviews... Magical. My dog is currently pouting because she'd rather be there than home. We will be back. Thanks Pam and Len for sharing this piece of heaven!"

  • Very good winter getaway with cross country skiing nearby

"Very cozy and comfortable log house in good Adirondack style. Lack of snow did not spoil our trip. The hosts greeted us with a welcome pie, very nice of them."

  • Perfect.

"Our second stay here. This will continue to be a favorite getaway spot. The place is clean, quiet and cozy. Gerry and Susan are great as they helped celebrate our wedding anniversary by displaying arrangements I had delivered to the site. Thanks again!"

  • Wonderful Winter Weekend Getaway

"The Good Life Cabin was the perfect place for our mid-Winter getaway to the Adirondacks. It had all the comforts of home right in the Adirondacks. The cabin is a great base camp for snowshoeing, downhil skiing at Gore & Oak Mountain, and cross-country at Lapland Lake and Garnett Hill. During the warmer months there is probably even more activities to do here. The kitchen is fully stocked so I was able to cook full delicious meals each night without skipping a beat. The cabin also has a great view of Lake Algonquin like right out the window. At night we were able to catch up our latest binge-watching with the fast internet connection/Roku while the propane stove kept us nice and warm. Debbie & Keith took great care of us and made sure we had everything we needed, including pancake mix, syrup and coffee. The Adirondacks had a bad ice storm the night before we arrived and Debbie and Keith made sure we were still powered up with a generator until the electric service came back. We can't wait to go back again!"
