  • Fantastic Getaway

"My husband and I found this place online and it was exactly what was describled on the website. Its an amazing gem in the Adirondacks. We brought our 5 years white labrador to relax by the lake, go for nature walks and just get away from the hustle and busle of everyday life. This cabin was a perfect spot. the property was very well maintained the beach area had everything you needed. The cabin had everything you could ask for. the owners live on the property but they leave you alone but yet are there if you needed anything at all, they have two friendly labradors which greeted us often. If you are looking for a peacful getaway this is the place for you."

  • Awesome property!

"The camp was perfect for my wife and I.... not too modern and not too rustic. It was just right and very relaxing. We had two nights that dropped below 40, but we were nice and snug while sleeping and the wood stove took the chill off in morning. Thanks Kevin!"

  • Beautiful home - owner has thought of everything

"We spent three days here in late September. Erin could not have been more helpful or accommodating on our stay. The house is lovely, and very well equipped. We usually stay in rustic cabins in the southern end of the lake, so we overpacked in terms of kitchen accessories. All you really need to bring are clothes and food. This was our first stay on the northern end of the lake. It's very quiet and peaceful - great for a long weekend away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommended."

  • Rustic, clean, comfortable, easy access to Friend Lake which was lovely.

"My husband and I had a great week away. We were able to relax comfortably and enjoy horseback riding, hiking, kayaking, fishing, swimming. The people at the lake were friendly and there were minimal motor boats running which was nice. Kayaks and a rowboat was supplied. We were a little disappointed that the rowboat's oars were not attached appropriately which made using the boat difficult. :( Brendan was very nice and so was the cleaning woman Cynthia, who greeted us and gave us a tour. We were very glad were went and enjoyed our week in Chester Town. Circle B ranch is a good choice for horseback riding. Ausable Chasm is a great place to visit for hiking and other physical challenges. Palmer Pond was an easy and enjoyable hike. The Ice Cream Parlor is a great place to eat. Crossroads is another good place to go for a fishing license, deli sandwiches, a brewery is on the premises and they have all kinds of fishing supplies, books, cards, clothing, fun things for keepsakes. The people who work here are kind, friendly and helpful. Lake Placid is a nice trip to make and we had a wonderful opportunity to attend a Rugby Tournament in the area. Yes, we would recommend to friends."
