  • Gorgeous

"A group of us came up for the Ironman race and had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of room for 4 families to share the space. The place was super clean, kitchen fully stocked with plenty of cookware/utensils. It was within a short run to the race start (1.5mi). The owners are super easy to deal with."

  • Wonderful stay!

"Even though the temp was below zero for most of our stay, we had a great time at this property. We were 5 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 child and we had plenty of room and were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed for our needs. The "game" room ended up being a hit since we were stuck inside most of the time. The main street was within walking distance and was great for restaurants, shopping and the Olympic museum, and the mountain and other winter sports were a short drive away. Two thumbs up!"

  • Wonderful family vacation

"We just spent our annual vacation week at Camp Pinecone. We have stayed at many other Adk rentals and Camp Pinecone was definitely one of the best. The camp is accurately described. It was perfect for our family of six. We loved the dock and waterfront area-swimming was great off the dock & the shallow sandy area was perfect for the dogs and our visiting four yr old nephew. Fire pit & abundant firewood & chairs made for perfect evening fires. As others have said, the new kitchen is incredibly well stocked & a dream to prepare meals= the outside gas grill is also excellent. The week was uncharacteristically hot for the area and the camp has several ceiling fans as well as 2 box fans that made sleeping more comfortable. We made all our own meals but we did get some unexpectedly hot delicious breakfast pastries fresh out of the oven from the nearby Trading Post. Lastly, Maureen was an absolute delight to deal with. She responded quickly to all of my emails, answered all my questions & could not have been more pleasant & accommodating !"

  • Adirondack Bliss

"Garnet Lake is aptly named for the gemstones once mined in this region of the Adirondacks. This gem of a lake offers solitude, natural beauty, and all of the activities associated with lake living....kayaking, swimming, fishing, or just chillin' by the fire pit. Our family vacation at Garnet Lake combined the creature comforts of a well-appointed lake house with the natural beauty that greets you every morning as you look out onto the lake and the surrounding mountains. The house has a very remote feel, but it is conveniently located near Gore Mountain, Lake George, and the shops and restaurants in North Creek. We just loved the house and the owners are very friendly to deal with."
