  • Ski Windham Stay Aiden's Pass

"Great place to stay for a ski trip to Windham. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. The mountain was a 5 minute ride away. The dining room, kitchen and deck had great views of Windham mountain. The house was super clean. Owners provided everything we needed. Although we weren't in the house much it was an excellent place to relax after a long day on the slopes. We hope to come back soon! Bob"

  • Classic victorian in bucolic setting

"My 8 year old daughter and I stayed in this lovely home with some cousins for a long weekend. It may be an old home but it is in excellent condition and must have recently received some updating as the clean and bright living room and eat-in kitchen dispel the myths of dark Victorian rooms. The basics were all supplied including linens and pantry items so we could focus on enjoying the wonderful porch and neighboring park. Amazing meats and cafe over the hilltop at Heather Ridge Farm - if you want to eat in or grill up some fresh lamb chops on the supplied Weber kettle grill. There is the quintessential upstate creek in the backyard which provides the ultimate sleep sound and a place to cool your feet on a hot day. Kids will have not just the adjacent park but a short drive offers a water park - or a family fun center in East Durham has go-karts, mini golf, and batting cages. A short drive to Greenville offers a traditional grocery store with everything you might want (they even had the vietnamese chili sauce I forgot), a hardware store, chinese take-out, liquor store, and pharmacy. Picturesque Rensselaerville, also a short drive, has a great restaurant, the Palmer House Cafe - - which offers locally sourced, delicious food. However, our best time was spent in the porch hammock enjoying the cool breeze and watching the abundant bird life in the big maple trees - so relaxing."
