  • Beautiful lake home!

"We stayed in this beautiful Saratoga Lake home over the 4th of July. It comfortably accommodated our extended family of 5 adults and 3 kids. Many hours were spent relaxing on the upper deck overlooking the water. We used the 2 kayaks and paddleboard to explore the lake (not great for swimming due to swampy bottom) . The house is conveniently located near the town with great shopping, dining, and touring of the race track. The owners are very accommodating and graciously gave a boat tour of the lake. Would love to return to this special home."

  • Simply Magnificant

"My family of six were fortunate enough to spend a week in this Magnificant home. We arrived tired and jet lagged but on seeing the house we all got a new lease of life! Joanne was there in person to meet us and give us the grand tour. She is the perfect hostess! She was friendly and welcoming and gave us household information and advised us on places we should visit based on our interests. She left us with the knowledge that if help was required it was only a phone call away. This house is large, spacious and was immaculately clean. It had all the mod cons and its location could not have been better. On the evenings when our kids decided to 'chill' and watch a movie on one of the many large screen TVs while relaxing on the lazy boys, my husband and I enjoyed some quiet time on the private porch. Indoors and outdoors there was nothing we were missing. Location Location Location. Best described as WOW! Located just a three minute walk from Broadway where there were numerous shops, bars and restaurants. The homemade ice-cream shops were a huge hit with the kids. Three minutes walk in a different direction gets you to a beautiful public park. Apart from lovely walks, statues and waterfountains the park also had its own fabulous early 20th century carousel which was the highlight of the visit for our 7 year old. We visited lake George and million dollar beach which were only a 20 minute drive away. We went outlet shopping, sightseeing , to amusements and much much more. There is genuinely so much to see and do here you will be amazed! The only bad part.........we had to give it back!!! I cannot recommend this fantastic property with it wonderful hostess highly enough!! A sincere thank you Joanne for your hospitality and for giving us the privilege of staying in your gorgeous home."

  • Beautiful house, excellent location, wonderful host

"The house was truly beautiful and unbelievably comfortable. The kitchen was a dream! The backyard was well-manicured and relaxing. We were located just a short drive to the track and downtown. Shanah was a terrific host which just added to this wonderful experience. I would highly recommend a stay at this lovely home."

  • A Perfect Embodiment of Pure Berkshires Beauty

"I must confess that I found this listing after another lease agreement happened to fall through at the last minute. Well, that's the best thing that could have happened to me, a blessing in disguise. Loving all the Western Mass summer attractions, I never stayed on the New York side of the Berkshires before. If that is your concern, don't fret. Tanglewood is less than 25 minutes away, and many other great spots are also close: the Shakespeare Theatre, Barrington Theatre, museums, great restaurants, and lots of hiking and nature. I've been staying in the Berkshires for years, and this property has the most beautiful view I have ever seen. It's so open, bucolic, serene -- and the backyard is well maintained, so sitting in the back, and playing in the grass, is a joy not overwhelmed by bugs and wild growth all over (all of that is kept at a safe, but beautifully close, distance). The house itself is spacious enough to be comfortable for several people, and it's VERY clean. This is important when you're staying so close to the woods and mountains. I didn't see anything more than a couple ants while I was there. It's not an overstatement to say that my summer stay in the Berkshires this year was magical and unforgettable; and Rick's family's place allowed that to happen. You can tell that he and his family love this house and take good care of it. That's always a good sign. If you want beauty and comfort and all things Berkshires, then this is a wonderful place to stay. You absolutely will not be disappointed. And, it most certainly helps that in all his dealings, Rick is quickly responsive and easy to reach. I strongly recommend."
