  • New Years

"I recently rented this property for New Years weekend. It was a little difficult to get up to the house because it had been lightly snowing. The road was plowed but we had a front wheel drive vehicle and it took us 15 minutes of burning some rubber to get up the hill. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the owner Gisele who was staying on the other side of the house. She was very nice and told us whatever we needed while we were there she could help us. She even offered to drive down the hill to get our friends if they got stuck at the bottom. The house itself was very cozy and welcoming. There were so many cool artifacts and knick knacks. The open floor layout was great for my friends and I. There was a speaker to play music and a big screen TV. The kitchen came equipped with almost every appliance you could ever need. We did family style breakfast and dinners and there was more than enough room in the kitchen for at least 4 people to be making things at a time. I contacted Gisele last minute to ask if she would allow a dog on the property and she replied within an hour and said that was totally fine. I had 7 guests staying at the house but there was more than enough room to have more people stay and be completely comfortable. I will say, if you're staying for more than a weekend I would buy everything you need before you make the drive up to the house. We stopped in Kingston at a Walmart to load up on food & beer and we didn't see another supermarket for the entire drive up to the house. My sister who is an architect noticed the doors and windows in the house weren't completely finished but I think the owner is still renovating some small things. She mentioned it was an addition. All-in-all we had a great experience and would definitely rent the property again. It was a great getaway from the city. Thanks again!"

  • Charming and a great space!

"My family and I really enjoyed this property! It's clean and tastefully decorated, the beds are comfortable, it's got a fully-equipped kitchen, and the little hamlet of Andes is very charming! It was perfect for a mini ski vacation for us. We would definitely stay again!"

  • Great place

"Loved our long weekend here. We were four adults and a dog and really enjoyed the place. The host was here to welcome us and extremely helpful. The smart tv, games and fireplace were all very enjoyable and the rooms are nice - even better than in the pictures. The only thing I'd note is that it's quite far from most places and the bedroom walls are very thin."

  • Complete Relaxation

"Great place to stay for relaxing. We found ourselves only leaving to go to the grocery store which is only 10 minutes away. The outside of the house has a nice area with a firepit where the kids and dog could run around and play in the snow. Beautiful deck with a BBQ that over looks the reservoir with amazing views. We spent the days outside and the nights inside cooking and sitting around the nice cozy fireplace. House has everything you need for a nice peaceful get away. The only issue with the house is there was noticable mice activity and the house could have been a little cleaner. Would definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying again. Owners were very informative and nice to deal with."
