  • Beautiful and Relaxing Stay!

"Jeffrey and Kates house was absolutely immaculate! They have made our stay easy and care-free. The property has so much to offer from fishing, building a fire, games, and so much more! The house itself is beautiful and clean. They even have everything we needed to cook a large meal for our group it was like cooking in my own kitchen! We are looking forward to staying in their beautiful house again!"

  • cozy, clean, organized with an spacious sitting room and awesome fireplace.

"We had a fantastic time skiing at Windham over the Holidays. The restaurants we visited were all delicious-Bistro Brie &Bordeaux, Vesuvio, The Brown Bar, Chicken Run and Catskill Mountain Country Store. We are 4 adults and 1 teenager and spent most of the time on the mountain or at the house. We were supposed to be 3 more people, 2 adults and 1 child, but they couldn't join us because of work issues. The house is as pictured and very clean. There was plenty of space for us. The kitchen, dining and sitting areas are very open and comfortable. The fireplace is fantastic. We had fires in the mornings and evenings. There's a place in town where you can pick up wood. The bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of linens and towels. (We each travel with one pillow from home.) There are 4 bedrooms on the first floor, 3 are large with plenty of closet space. One is smaller with no closet , and houses the washer and dryer. The washer and dryer are large and work well. The washer is not an HE so your clothes will get clean! The queen beds are on the small side, but 3 of the rooms have twin beds which could easily be pushed together. The upstairs queen bedroom is the smallest, with no closet space. It was nice though because most of the upstairs is given to the shared living space. We didn't cook in the kitchen, but there's plenty of space to work, and very clean. There are 2 nice size decks we didn't use because it was winter. One is right off the dining area. The 2 bathrooms were clean, both with one sink, a large shower and no tub. The foyer is designed nicely for skiers. It's a large area to hang and store wet jackets, pants, boots, and helmets. The grounds are as described. There's a fire pit by the pond, and the property backs up to game land that allows hiking, hunting and fishing. Bring some orange clothes. There are some very expensive houses being built along Mill Rd. One of them has a hockey rink complete with a large score board. There was often a game being played. Now about wifi. It was slow. You could use it for emails and texts. We all travel with iPads and follow news and snap chat, and steam videos, and movies, and vlogs, and tv... We had to use cellular or it wouldn't download. Maybe wifi can be jacked up? We have Verizon, so I upped the data plan to XXL and the cellular was very reliable. Overall we would highly recommend the house and the area!!!"

  • Superb attention to detail and cozy

"We originally booked the barn to have a very small wedding elopement because it is so dreamy that tying the knot there would have been something to remember. We ended up changing our plans but decided to have a romantic getaway before the wedding and have the barn to ourselves. The barn is impecable! is clean with everything you might need, including delicious organic coffee and bathroom supplies. The attention to detail on everything (from custom made tags for shampoos and soaps in the bathroom, postcards with stamps ready to go, to logs beautifully stacked to feed the amazing stove), the decoration is rustic and hip and you can tell this place is a pride worth of such TLC. We visited in the peak of the fall and the town is beautiful! We went for a hike walking distance and popped into the local coffee shop for an amazing cup of coffee and a pastry. Bruna and Andrew checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, they are incredible hosts who go the extra mile for their guests. We arrive to a beautiful care package from them that included delicious local goodies and a cider! All they want in exchange is that you take care of their property as much as they do. We are already planning in coming back to the magical barn next year!"
