  • Beautiful House

"We really did not want to leave this beautiful house and property, we absolutely loved it. House has so much character and comfort, kitchen is very well stocked for cooking and dining room is spacious and inviting. Outside property is beautiful, even picked up a few apples from the trees, enjoyed sitting by the fire pit as well. As per owner suggestion went to the Lake Superior Park, very nice area and swimming/boating available, however if you visit with small children please note that they do not allow any floating devices so if your child can't swim on their own, you will have to hold them or just let them play in the sand and close to shore. Also visited Sunday festival at Bethel Art center, lots of fun and in close proximity to the house. Thank you for a wonderful time!"

  • Wonderful, relaxing home!

"This property is absolutely gorgeous--secluded, peaceful, with beautiful gardens and several walking trails at the back of the house. The house itself was immaculate, modern, and incredibly comfortable. We have a toddler, and the house set up--multiple bathrooms, a downstairs area with twin beds, a futon, and a kids' play table--was perfect for a family with a young child. Gianni and Angela were wonderful as well, and they have created a very special, lovely vacation home. Close enough to NYC for a quick getaway, and with a clear view of the night sky in a beautiful setting, this was really the perfect house for a Catskills vacation."

  • Romantic getaway near Livingston Manor

"This lovely house is located in a quaint lake community. While there was no official guide on how to take care of the house, Leon was quick to answer many of our questions via e-mail (i.e. how the TV works, equipment for grilling etc.). My boyfriend and I enjoyed a pleasant Memorial Day weekend of BBQ-ing, hiking, stargazing and walking around the town of Livingston Manor. There's no AC in the main floors of the home, but we found that keeping the windows open was sufficient for keeping the temperature down. My only disclaimer is that the picture with the kayak/boats was slightly misleading, as those do not belong to this rental house. Otherwise, the pictures do justice! We'd recommend this house for couples, friends and families."

  • Great place to relax and have fun!

"My significant other and I wanted to go away for the weekend last minute and contacted the homeowner the day before checking in but she made everything so easy and convenient for us. We were able to go to the house and pay once we got there the next day. Gina was so helpful in telling us about all the local places to visit as well as other fun things to do nearby. It was great fishing, hiking, and just relaxing right by the river. It's a small town but there was still so much to do. I will definitely come back to this place whenever I have the time to. This place is great for family or friends!"
