  • Exactly what we needed!

"The house was warm and welcoming. It was clean and very well maintained. The communication from the property owners was clear and helpful. We had an amazing stay, would recommend this property to anyone and are planning on going back in the future. 5 stars!"

  • I wish we could have stayed for longer!

"We loved our stay at June and David’s cabin – it’s beautifully done up and furnished and very spacious. Having just spent a few nights in the city where we had eaten out every night, it was great to be able to cook in and enjoy the evening with the open fire and a bottle of red. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great while we were there, but we still managed to enjoy a couple of local walks, and an enormous dinner at Tavern 214. Maybe it’s just our British appetites, but the starters were the same size as we would expect a main to be! The cabin is a very romantic place to spend a few nights for a retreat – we even got engaged there!"

  • Perfect Ski Log Cabin

"Let me start off by saying this is our 2nd time at the cabin and we will be returning again. The Lieboff Family (owners) are so generous by providing their beautiful quintessential log cabin home for rent to other families or persons. This log cabin is not a landlord/rental property, it is their vacation home and is extremely nice. Everything you need is provided and there at the cabin. Nestled just far enough off the road with practically no one else around, you feel a sense of privacy other places can not offer. The Lieboff's give detailed instructions with no reason to have to contact them for questions although they are only a text or phone call away if you need them. The owners let you enjoy your time as if it was your very own vacation home (thanks Richele & Craig :D). My wife and two children (12 & 9) thoroughly enjoyed our ski vacation again for the second year in a row. The cabin is only a short drive to Windham Mnt. & town which has a lot to offer. First we start off at the Country Store for the best breakfast in the Catskills then head to the Mnt. to ski. For lunch or dinner there are other great restaurants in town as well. Some of our favorites are Chicken Run, Mill Rock, & Brandy Wine just to name a few. Windham town is a perfect all year place to visit with many other things to do besides skiing. I so look forward to next year. Thanks again Lieboff's, The Cameron Family"

  • Perfect cottage in the woods

"My friend and I traveled to Rhinebeck for the Dutchess County Sheep and Wool Festival in October, and everything about my experience with Dan and this cottage were top notch. We were traveling from Canada, and at every step of the way, Dan was patient and thoughtful in helping us plan our accommodations. All of our emails backs and forth were detailed and timely, and I appreciated Dan's patience and understanding with arranging payment from another country. In the days leading up to the trip, Dan sent me detailed directions to the cottage, which were incredibly helpful in navigating the local highways and winding country roads. When we arrived at the cottage after a long day of driving, Dan was right there to meet us, and he walked us through every feature of the cottage. It was fantastic, and especially appreciated the fireplace in the living room (we used it both nights we were there!). The cottage includes a small kitchen, which was perfect for putting together our own breakfasts each morning. Dan left coffee, a bottle of milk, and muffins for us in the kitchen, which was a sweet touch. Having a car with us with necessary, as the cottage is about an 8 minute drive from downtown Rhinebeck, but it was a short trip to go and find a meal or explore the town. Dan's restaurant suggestions were right on, we really enjoyed the Thai food place he recommended. The cottage includes WiFi and satellite TV, and it couldn't be a more perfect location. You can sit out on the covered porch and enjoy your coffee while you look out over the trees and the mountains in the distance. Every bit as good as the pictures, and most deserving of a 5-star review rating - highly recommended!"
