  • Clean and cozy spot with excellent access to parks and town

"We stayed for father's Day weekend and had a great time. Kaaterskill creek and falls are within a short walk. Hunter mountain and the park are a short drive as is the dining of Saugerties, Woodstock and Catskill. This 2nd floor apartment has all the kitchen and bathing necessities and is furnished comfortably. A great value. Lea, Jeff and their son Will were very accommodating."

  • Lovely farmhouse, exceptional location

"Stella farms is a lovely old farmhouse that sits on one of the most beautiful plots of land in the vicinity. The house is charming and decorated authentically in tasteful and comfortabe antique style: the grounds are gorgeous, with old growth trees, beautiful gardens, and farmland across the quiet road. Pool and amenities are terrific. This is not a new build house with all the trimmings. Rather it is a delightful rustic place for those who want a true weekend in the countryside plus pool and creature comforts."

  • Another wonderful stay!

"Thanks again for providing such a perfect dog-friendly home for my stay in Saugerties. Not only is your home wonderful, but I also was lucky enough to meet some of your great neighbors! I am looking forward to coming back!"

  • Relaxing get away!

"Arrived by bus on memorial weekend into the center of Woodstock. The cottage is around a 15 minute walk from the drop off point- The majority of the walk is via a path but there is a short section on an unpaved road (we took a detour via the golf course which shortened the walk on the road). Billy's wife Jane met us and gave us the keys from the cottage, which is located near their main house. We didn't see or hear too much from them throughout our whole trip. The cottage was clean and backs onto a running stream. The cottage has double glazing, so its your choice whether you listen to the running water or not from the bedroom, as the double glazed windows shut off any noise from outside. Had pizza on the day we arrived from the local pizza shop and ate the remainder for lunch the following day as the portions were pretty big (one small pizza for two is fine). We took advantage of the nice weather and grilled both evening, buying the meat and veg from the organic store in Woodstock. (just south of the pizza shop- not the one that backs onto rite aid or CVS). We finally met Billy as we were leaving and he kindly offered to drop us both off at the bus stop in Woodstock. We would definitely recommend streamside cottage!"
