  • Good space and terrific pond - owners very helpful

"The main living area is very nice, with high ceilings, bright floors and good furniture, and lots of windows. the dining area had a big dining table with good seating (for 8 I think). the loft TV room and ping-pong table was good. very private setting in the woods. The back patio with the gas grill and fireplace was rustic, but very comfortable for evening meals. the kitchen was modest, with a small refrigerator, tiny dishwasher and little counterspace. limited glassware (eg few wine glasses). no central AC, but window AC units in 3 bedrooms. the pond was great for playing with kids 10-15 yrs. old. our dogs were permitted on the property, but had to stay outside."

  • A lovely country retreat

"We very much enjoyed our stay with Rob and Gill from the greeting chocolate cake and wine to the last delicious, healthy breakfast. In between we loved the spacious, restful, beautifully landscaped grounds. Our room was large, carefully decorated, very clean, with access to a kitchen and living room. The location is excellent, with several restaurants within walking distance and many places to visit nearby. We look forward to returning soon."

  • Quaint house nestled in woods.

"Beautiful setting nestled in the woods. Quaint old home with warmth and charm. Very hospitable owner . Cozy rooms, with luxury linens and towels. Spacious kitchen and den/living area. Spacious and relaxing porch. On downside. Very steep stairs, poorly lit Maste,Den, driveway/ entry. I would recommend this place for younger Family group, not seniors."

  • Wonderful farm, great visit.

"How many times have we pulled into a guesthouse only to discover that we'll be listening to road noise all night long? Tim and Beth's farm isn't like that. It's deep country quiet and dazzling stars at night. We've stayed in the yurt and in Mr. Ed's Cabin and both were comfortable. Also, have the breakfast at least one time during your stay, because Tim and Beth are fun to talk to. There's also abundant bird life, lovely wildflowers. The yurt has a porch from which you can watch the sunset, which on the first night of our stay was gorgeous. All the equipment worked fine and tho the Yurt got a bit hot during the day, as we expected it would do, it cooled off just fine at night. The creek on the property is not truly swimmable, but it's good spot to sit and cool off. There is an actual swimming hole, very pretty, just a few minutes' drive away. Go there and talk to the locals. It's fun! I just hope I can visit again soon."
