  • Magical!

"Appearances are deceiving--open the door of this unassuming house to be amazed by its views from every window! Perched on the edge of a ravine, you'll feel you are living in the treetops, with the constant sound of the rushing creek just outside. Eating and relaxing on the screened porch was wonderful, a vacation inside a vacation. The striking and inventive design, the convenient and unexpected additions were all appreciated. This is a cook's kitchen, so if that's your pleasure don't worry you won't find proper pans, knives and such. Info about the house and surrounding area was thorough and helpful. Owners were friendly and flexible. We hope we can return and stay a bit longer next time."

  • Beautiful place!

"Very comfortable cabin on a beautiful piece of land. Watching the sunrise over the pond from the deck was my favorite part."

  • Beautiful home with everything you need

"I stayed here with my sister and friends to celebrate her bachelorette party for Labor Day weekend, and we absolutely loved this home! We were 11 people and were completely comfortable - there were so many bedrooms and bathrooms, the house could easily sleep many more. The common spaces like the living room and dining room were spacious enough that everyone could gather together for meals and games in the evening, which was really nice. We all felt immediately comfortable and enjoyed most of our stay relaxing at the house. The pool, hot tub, and lake were fantastic and the property is incredibly peaceful and scenic, but closely located to lots of fun things like the college town of New Paltz, nearby wineries, and great hiking spots. We didn't want to leave! The owner, Iris, was extremely helpful and the home was immaculate and fully stocked with nice linens, towels, dishes - everything you'd need for a lovely getaway. It's a great house with a lot of charm and I would recommend it to anyone vacationing with a large group of friends or family."
