  • Charming, cozy cabin that we will return to!

"We had a great Labor Day Weekend at this character filled cabin which was perfectly located and also very well kept and welcoming. There was plenty of space for 4 people, especially with the porch out front. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the host provided ample instructions for all necessary activities. The house was also perfectly located for plenty of Summertime attractions, and literally at the base of Hunter Mountain, which is great for a winter visit. We can't wait to return!"

  • Great stay! Great location!

"Cozy and very close to the mountain. The house is only a 3-5 minute drive from the base lodge at Hunter Mountain. We had a great stay - the house got warm very quickly and was perfect for what we needed. Make sure if you plan to build a fire you bring dry wood our a duraflame - the owner requests you do not use the firewood that is there and the firewood from local shops was very damp/wet so we had a hard time with it. Other than that, the rooms were clean, bathroom and hot water worked well, and the heat had units in each room so that cabin warmed up really quickly. Cozy and had a lot of character!"

  • Beautiful interior

"This little "barn" was refurbished with great taste and style. Everything is new: hardwood floors, tiled bathroom, solid wood shelving and window frames. The whole place has wonderful natural light and was very easy to moderate the temperature for warm days and cool nights. It has a nice amount of space for your clothes and outdoor gear too. We stayed at the end of September and were perfectly comfortable. Two things to note, the couch does not fold out, which I believe is stated in the description, and the stairs inside are very steep. Our hosts were good about making the arrangements for checking in and out. The location couldn't be better for anyone looking to spend time on Hunter Mt or in Tannersville. We made the 40 minute drive to Woodstock and had a nice couple of hours looking at the shops and having an Indian meal. Such a beautiful part of the Catskills to visit!"
