  • Nice and cozy

"Just as described and pictured. Lauri was very accommodating. Location is unbeatable as it is close to EVERYTHING including , of course, Hunter! Restaurants , shops all with in walking distance. House is cozy and has an old feel for sure . A bit dark and house shows some wear and tear - again it is an OLD house- but it worked for our short stay. Plenty of space ! The lay out worked very well for our crew of 17 ( 3 families with young children + a couple w/ out kids). The price is great too and the 1 night minimum was a huge plus for us as it was just an overnight trip. Would recommend to any large group like ours ( w/ or w/ out kids) wanting proximity to the town and looking for good value no frills place."

"We loved the home, the privacy and comfort. The house was clean, organized and had everything we were looking for to accommodate our trip. The property was private and well kept. I highly suggest staying here. We absolutely loved it. Highly recommend the place."

  • Woodstock Magic

"Secluded but not remote, modern but cozy, eat-off-the-floors clean with a well-stocked kitchen and a wrap-around deck with gorgeous views of rustling trees, Sage is a magical cabin in the woods. From higher-tech touches like a CD/iPod stereo, cable TV and Netflix to smaller touches like plenty of extra towels , up-to-date travel guides and the right kind of coffee filters, Mirav has thought of everything necessary to make guests happy. Mine was a mother-daughter trip so we brought an inflatable bed and it fit perfectly in the bedroom. There is a pull-out sofa, but there is so much sun in the main room that it'd be hard to sleep in there. Of course, the sun is not a bad thing. The many windows brought the outdoors inside. Lots to do in the area: Horseback riding at Payne Too Farm in New Paltz, sailing with Captain Jerome's Tivoli Sailing charters in Kingtston, Opus 40 sculpture garden in Saugerties. And so many restaurants: Red Onion and New World Home Cooking in Saugerties, Oriole9 in Woodstock (actually not a tourist trap) and many more. We were sad to leave and will be back soon!"

  • Relaxation!!!!

"Absolutely loved our stay here! Peace & quiet, complete with a babbling brook located directly behind the property. Imagine yourself relaxing on the hammock (on the deck) with your favorite book and listening to the water outback. It's heaven! The house was super cute, lots of room. If the weather is nice, keep the windows open. It's great to hear the sound of the water out back! We met Alison, she was very nice and fun to chat with - and we loved her dog Harmony! Such a sweetie! She'll be sure to stop by and say hi :) The downtown is located about 5 minutes away (maybe less), which has a small grocery store, a couple of restaurants and shops. Tons of people were checking out this place to go tubing, but we didn't have time. We will when we visit next year! Lots of great hiking nearby. We can't wait to go back!"
