  • Beautiful views and charming design!

"A hip, lovely getaway less than 10 mins from Hudson. The views are stunning, and we spent lots of time grilling on the back deck. Beautifully updated house that's a mixture of contemporary interior architecture, mid-century modern furniture, antiques, and a ton of eclectic artwork. Roadside farmers markets with fresh strawberries and spinach. Great books, well-stocked kitchen, and a Nest thermostat! (Note for future renters: start laundry the night before you leave as it takes a while and needs to be folded before checkout). Would love to stay here again with friends!"

  • We were delighted to have such a pleasant flyfishing vacation and the home and location is ideal

"My best friend and wives had a fabulous time at this lovely home on the Beaverkill. The mecca for flyfishing in the Northeast, combined with a lovely property and serene environment, combined for a fabulous long weekend getaway. We hope to carve out a full week to stay at this lovely home and our experience with the Coopers was extremely pleasant from start to finish. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone looking for a great getaway and some fabulous flyfishing."

  • INCREDIBLY Beautiful Home and AREA!!!!!

"In all honesty, we have rented many homes on our vacation jaunts and there's usually something lacking, but not in this home’s case! The home was laid out perfectly and with the Hot Tub and Pool Table, it offered something for everyone to do. The pond is an incredible addition, unfortunately, because of the time of year we visited, it was too cold for swimming. The home has the most incredible view, I realized how long it had been since I heard perfect silence! It was exactly what we both needed to decompress and relax! The Stars were incredible and on Thursday night we had a full moon! WOW talk about a view of the moon!!!!! The area that it is located in, Margaretville, NY was very small so it was perfect with the goal of relaxation in mind. Plenty of Antique Shops and small stores with the local flare. It’s a mountainous area so there is some driving between the little towns, but, this gives you the opportunity to spot wildlife. Not only did we see deer on the side of the roads, but we were also able to see a Bald Eagle! The owners of the property, Mike and Joanne, we super easy to work with and everything was taken care of for our arrival and it immediately gives you that “welcome” feeling. If you are a skier, this is the perfect place! If you are a fisherman, this is the perfect place! If you just want to relax, this is the perfect place! While we were there, we visited Cooperstown (Baseball HOF), Bethel Woods (home to the Woodstock experience). These 2 items are definite day trips, but well worth it!!!!! We will CERTAINLY be returning...."

  • A perfect extended family vacation!

"This was a great place for our extended family of 35. We stayed an entire week using all three houses and each one of us was sad to leave. There was plenty of space to gather as a group, which we did often, or get away on your own if you needed a break from all those people. Kitchens were fully loaded with dishes and cookware. We had beautiful views, and beautiful homes. (The Guest house not as "fancy" as the other two, but still well appointed, comfortable and clean) Firepits outside two of the houses where we sat every night and plenty of seats at the pool. The houses had so many extras to kept us entertained-- the pool table and large screen tv in the entertainment house was a hit with the kids and adults alike and there was room for all of us to gather in that house to eat dinner together every night. The main house had a beautiful large porch with couches tables and views that were just beautiful. The main house also had the bar downstairs, hot tub, dry sauna, gym and access out the door to the pool and a huge gas barbecue grill.. It was just a perfect setup for a great day every day. Those of us looking to go off property found plenty to do for day trips here and there.. There is a hiking trail right on the property and there are nearby golf courses (we went twice), we drove about 35 - 45 minutes to Bethel Woods/Woodstock, Monticello Racetrack/Casino (the track is a little run down), another group of us found tubing, and a beautiful swimming hole with crystal clear water and a natural water slide. The owner/caretaker was on premises to help us immediately with any issues we had. We would highly recommend this vacation to anyone with a large group as a fun, relaxing and beautiful place to stay!"
