  • Spacious house with open design and breathtaking views

"Our experience with this house, from the time of booking to our departure, was outstanding. The house is just as seen in the photos, with quality furnishings, simple and clean décor, and lots of open space. You get a great view of the mountains from practically every room in the house (and there are plenty of windows)! It was very easy to settle in and feel right at home quickly. the fact that the house was so clean was a huge plus! We were two adults and two young kids, so obviously didn't utilize all the space/rooms, but were still able to enjoy all aspects of the house, including the pool table on the ground floor. There is a flat front lawn, which was great for the kids to play on, but the wooded and sloped back yard was also fun for the kids to explore. Given the house is situated higher up in the mountain, it is nicely secluded and peaceful. Much like other guests who have stayed here, we are very much looking forward to returning one day."

We were there for the horse show, it took only about 7 minutes to get to the show grounds everyday! So easy! the home is also close to all the great places to eat and shop. It was a great week! To top it off my daughter and her horse won Champion!!"

  • Privacy & Peacefulness

"If you are looking for a way to pretend you live in the country for a few days, Arborcrest is the perfect spot. Your own cottage in the woods, just minutes from all major Dutchess County attractions, it makes a great base to explore the area. We toured Hyde Park, West Pont, CIA, Old Rhinebeck Areodrome, downtown Rhinebeck, and biked Mills-Norrie State Park. So nice to come home to a large clean space with full kitchen, super comfy king bed, huge bath with super fluffy towels and a wrap around porch for catching the last light of the day or morning coffee. Why spend the same money on a small hotel room when you can have a space that is the size of a small apartment? And the owner, Tanya, was a wealth of information, like having a private concierge. Her house is in front of the cottage but we felt we had complete privacy, and yet she was there if we needed her. She also thoughfully provided coffee, water, wine, fresh flowers and even home made cookies! We would highly recommend Arborcrest as an alternative to the other lodging options in the area. Thanks Tanya!"

  • Beautiful property in a private setting with waterfalls & pond to make trip more tranquil.

"We didn't want to leave cabin. The property is set on 7 beautifully manicured acres .The outer deck gives the most amazing view of the mountains. There is a cozy living room with fireplace & adorable country kitchen. The owner Rosanna was incredibly welcoming & gave us great eateries & shopping locations within minutes to cabin. We are already planing our next trip for fall. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home to escape from our daily hustle & bustle for a few days . Doreen"
