  • Great ski weekend

"We had a lovely ski weekend at the Windham house. We were five families and there was plenty of room, it was cozy, the hot tub was fantastic and both the kids and adults enjoyed the game room. It's very close and conveniently located near the Windham ski resort. We would totally come here again!"

  • Perfect for family skiing at Windham

"We stayed here the last weekend in February. My kids had ski races at Windham all weekend and the super quick drive to the mountain was much appreciated. The condo was really perfect. It was super clean. The kitchen was well stocked, the living room was cozy, and the fireplace (wood provided) was great. The boys loved their room (Atari console, especially!) and our bed was comfortable (the stars through the skylight were beautiful). There seemed to be a thermostat in every room, and all worked quickly and efficiently. I contacted the owner once by email Saturday to ask about connecting the Atari and she responded immediately, and once by phone to ask about a key and she called back and texted within minutes. Couldn't ask for better. We had never been to Windham but loved the resort and the town and restaurants. I hope we have races there next year!!"

  • The Perfect Country Rental!

"My friends and I treated my nephew and his new wife to a surprise Wedding Gift country weekend. After a great deal of research, I found the perfect place! The house was as described: charming, spacious, secluded but close enough to town, historic but with the important updates, clean, and had a wonderful open country renovated kitchen, which was important as we're all food lovers, and cooked all weekend. The sizeable covered porch was a wonderful bonus, with enough space for eating meals, grilling, and chilling out on adirondack chairs with a cocktail. Even the beds were very comfortable, which is unusual in many rentals. The place was homey and comfortable, but didn't have that crammed with personal items, overly lived-in, feel that many rentals have--the feeling that you're almost infringing on someone else's space. The host, Sofia, was very communicative and helpful (even while she was vacationing in Europe during our stay). The only drawback was the water pressure in the kitchen faucet. Although the hot water was ample, the kitchen pressure made cleaning up after meals difficult. Also, because of dry weather, the stream was very low and not easily reachable. We knew it wasn't a swimming hole per se, but we hoped we would be able to cool off, and splash around in it (it was in the high 80s-low 90s). Creating a path down to the stream would be helpful (and, obviously, there's nothing you can do about mother nature and dry conditions)! That said, the house inside stayed remarkably cool during the day. Overall, this is a wonderful place to enjoy country living and I'd highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back!"

  • Great Time In The Catskills!

"I stayed at the condo for 3 nights with my two daughters and a friend. The condo is in excellent condition and was very clean. It was lovely having the beds already made with clean linens and plenty of towels for our stay. The condo included everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed sitting in the cozy living room around the tv at night and enjoying our coffee on the deck in the morning. The pool is beautiful, clean and not crowded and was only a 2 minute walk from the condo. The kids mostly had it to themselves during the day. We enjoyed playing badminton on the tennis courts for hours! Windham Path is within walking distance and had several geocaches that we were able to find. We spent a day hiking at nearby Kaaterskill Falls, it was amazing! We ate at a great diner right in the town of Windham called Michael's. The food and service were great and the night we were there all of the guests received free dessert made from scratch by the in-house pastry chef Overall a great getaway that will be remembered by all. The owner Nick was awesome and answered all of my questions promptly and he helped get us booked in quickly when we inquired at short notice. I will be looking to rent this home again, thank you Nick!"
