  • Loved my stay in the Waterfall Cottage

"The cottage was located right next to a stream and a waterfall. Two outdoor deck w/bbq to enjoy the view. Slept like a queen in the king size bed. My sons slept well in the loft. Comfortable living room w/fireplace. DVDs, games, books & WiFi for your entertainment. Full functioning kitchen w/dining area. Located a block off of Tinker St. Great vibe in town, kid friendly & safe. Cool flea market. Ate at Shindig twice, had the best bacon. Dessert was awesome. Great waitress from Long Island. Even met the chef. Can't wait to go back in the spring."

  • The PERFECT getaway house

"I recently spent the weekend here for my 27th birthday with my girlfriend, two best friends and another couple. Once we opened the door we knew we made the right choice. The bedrooms are bright and spacious. The living room has some of the most comfortable couches. The kitchen /dining area were perfect for the family meals we had and last, but certainly not least, the hot tub under the stars was breathtaking. After we spent the days snowboarding at windham, winding down with a big meal and an hour in the hot tub left us feeling fresh every morning. It was just secluded enough for the right amount of privacy. I definitely plan to come back in the summer! Thanks Cindy!!"

  • Very cozy!

"We had a wonderful time during the week we stayed at this cabin. Great customer service: There was an unexpected snowstorm, and the property manager Susanna was SO NICE offered to shovel snow for us, which wasn't necessary. It was clean, the bed and couch were comfortable, the shower had great water pressure, there were cozy blankets, the heat worked well. The cabin is beautiful and tucked away on a quiet lane so that our dog could play in the yards and driveway without a leash. The location was fantastic because it felt like getting away from the city but we were also close enough to Woodstock that we could easily run in for a yoga class, dinner, or grocery shopping. I would totally recommend this — the only thing I think could be improved on a little is the kitchen. Granted I'm a super avid cook bc I write about cooking for a living, but I think that a couple of the kitchen appliances and tools could use an update, like the toaster oven and the cookware and bakeware. Also I'm not sure if this was in the write-up, it probably was and we just didn't notice, but note that there is no full-sized oven, only the toaster oven, and the electric range only has two burners, but they totally work. We cooked many nights and it was just fine. Thanks again!!!"
