  • Couldn't be nicer!

"This is a spectacular home! Bradley couldn't be kinder or more considerate in organizing one's stay. All the guidance and directions were thorough and very helpful. The house is not only architecturally outstanding but it is beautifully appointed. If you want to cook you won't find a better kitchen. Everything is very comfortable and one space after the next is a pleasure to be in. The rave reviews I read beforehand are all completely true. We had a great time and are already hoping to come back! Thank you Bradley and Jack for sharing your amazing home!"

  • Nice house, Nice spot

"We were a bunch of friend going to the Catskills for a bike week. This hous was a perfect spot, clean, full of all we needed. The owner was very helpful and receiving. It's an old house with a lot of charm and good improvement were done to keep it up to date. We were 10 of us (3 couples + 4 solos) for that it was a bit thight for sleep, you need not to be too picky on intimacy, in our case it was ok. Would recommend it more for 8 people."

  • Gorgeous comfortable home in amazing setting

"We spent a splendid week at this home. The location is really perfect. It is a nice short walk into the center of town but you are far enough away that you are completely out of the hustle bustle and nestled in the woods. The back of the house faces a beautiful meadow where we watched the deer frolic and many different sorts of birds swooping and feeding and nesting. It was serene and lovely. The patio is sunny and a great warm spot for breakfast and general lounging. There is also a large screened in gazebo with a hammock and picnic table - perfect for dinner after grilling on the bbq. Inside is equally as wonderful. The "dome" room is a large, very comfortable and cool room with a big open kitchen that is very well stocked with everything you need for home cooking. You definitely don't feel like you are in a rental home with just the bare minimum for cooking - we love to cook and were very happy with the kitchen supplies. In the living room area there is a big cozy sofa for reading, relaxing or watching a movie on the wall projector TV. The house comes with a great selection of movies and we watched a few on the projector - which was fun. The extension on the dome is really fantastic - the back wall of the house is essentially all glass looking out to the meadow. The upstairs bedroom has nearly floor to ceiling windows (bring your eye mask for sleeping in) and is huge, airy and gorgeous. The bathroom/shower/dressing area design was amazing and very thoughtful -- the shower is huge! The downstairs bedrooms are very comfortable also, and open to the meadow side of the house. I recommend this house highly for a couple or a family or friends get a way. It was a real treat to stay there. Also -- very close by is a bike rental shop - we rented bikes one day and rode from the house out and around the Ashokan reservoir, that was really fun and we saw bald eagles flying over the reservoir, which was a treat. We also saw a bear -- which was a little scary but also cool! There is a lot of great hiking in the area -- and a really nice run/walk in the woods from the house in the Commeau Property -- just across Tinker St. Finally, Kim was a very professional and helpful property manager. I'll also add that if you have a dog and happen to be in need of "doggie-daycare" while you are there -- Camp Belly Rub in nearby Kingston was A+++ and I highly recommend them as well. Thank you very much!"

  • Lovely property!

"What a perfect first visit to the Catskills! Just the right mix of seclusion coupled with a short walk into charming Woodstock. The home is just as depicted. Close friendly neighbors on one side surrounded by nature, the artists cemetery, and a dance/yoga studio on the other sides. We used this as a convenient base for excursions into the nearby mountains, and it was very comfortable for our family of four. The surrounding wildlife in late June was straight out of a darn Disney movie: adorable chipmunks, vocal tree frogs, Bambi & mama, a whole committee of turkey vultures roosting in a tree overlooking the deck.... We loved it!"
