  • Revisiting the 70's!

"Thoroughly enjoyed a family reunion here in Woodstock. This home was a step back in time to my decade - the 70's. The attention to detail was greatly appreciated. The selection of LPs - including my favorite group from my youth - the Bee Gees - brought a warm sound to the living area. All the rooms were decorated and inviting. Especially appreciated the extra touches for families - many great games were played - Millionaire Monopoly, Mexican Train Dominoes, and the train track. The kitchen was very functional and had Fiesta ware in abundance. In fact, the house was so inviting, we rarely ventured out to Woodstock and the surrounding area. When we did - I would recommend Bread Only for food and Timbuktu and the Music Store. The main street of Woodstock holds unexpected treasures. Please inform future visitors of the step stool for the elevated beds upstairs. Otherwise a running leap is needed to get into bed!"

  • It is a very lovely house in a secluded setting.

"We had a wonderful stay at this home. The outdoor setting is incredible. We spent hours exploring in the stream and walking on the rocks. The home itself is lovely and well kept. We highly recommend it."

  • Amazing property! Really is like a private park.

"My husband and I came up here with another couple from the city, and it was like we'd gone somewhere very far away instead of just two hours. The house is so beautiful and spacious. The windows in the living room are at least 8 feet high, and you see trees and grass and water everywhere you look (even in the bathroom!). The grounds are very well kept, and it's so private here. We all agreed that we'd gotten a rest like none other on a weekend getaway. It takes about 15 minutes to get to Saugerties and Woodstock, but the drive is really beautiful, it's all out in the country, so we didn't mind it a bit. We plan to come back later in the fall when the leaves have changed more, or maybe when there's snow. This house would be like a big snow globe in winter!"
