  • A PERFECT RETREAT!!!

"Probably our most relaxing vacation ever! (and we travel to various Caribbean spots each year) Submerged in the peaceful sounds of nature, we found ourselves consumed by the blissful enjoyment of this quaint and cozy cabin nestled in the private and secluded Catskill Mountains. The cabin is just awesome! The outdoor shower is so invigorating. We enjoyed the outdoor grilling and evening campfires. Peaceful, relaxing, devoid of all the daily stimuli, this beautiful cabin absolutely exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning soon. A truly amazing weekend at this quaint and cozy cabin retreat. Thank you!"

  • A Great Getaway!

"This Lakeside House is in a great location. It's near stores, restaurants--places you'd like to pick up things you may need. But, it is set back from the main road so it is quiet and peaceful and feels like you are out in the quiet country and you are lakeside! The house is beautiful and well kept. It's clean, neat and well stocked. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 upstairs with a bathroom and the master bedroom on the main floor with a master bath which is great for all ages. There is a small indoor sitting room off the master bedroom (which also has access from the living room) where you can sit if it's cold outside or you're not dressed for outside. The kitchen, living room and dining room are all open so when you're cooking you are still involved with family and friends. This area has a half bath. The kitchen has a lot of cabinets and very good appliances! Downstairs there is a large family room which has a great pool table, which I enjoyed, and a TV room area. There are large glass doors with screens down and upstairs so you can see outside all the time and open them to get fresh air. My favorite place is the upper outside deck! The deck overlooks Lake Luzerne which is a peaceful, quiet, beautiful lake. The deck overlooks trees as well as the lake and has a lovely view. A small public beach is nearby (within walking distance) but you do not hear noise from the beach because of the beautiful greenery. It is so relaxing and peaceful to sit on the deck! There is a small sandy beach on the property that you can board your row boat or kayak and take off for a peaceful cruise in a great area! This is truly a lovely house and in a great setting! I'm sure anyone would enjoy it, I did!!"

  • Location, Location, Location...to the beach!

"This was our first time renting a cottage in Montauk as opposed to staying in a hotel. We went with another couple and wanted a place with our own bedrooms with a comfortable common area so that we could eat, hang out and talk and this cottage met the criteria. It was also a short walk to the beach and very secluded from the main road. Alison was there to meet us when we got there and was very helpful with any questions or additional needs that we had. It was clean and quaintly decorated. From what I am told, a lot of the cottages built for only summer use in the similar price range are on the older side, with a rustic feel, and dank smell to them, as was this one. There were 2 bedrooms. The master had a comfortable king size bed, high ceilings and big windows that let in the early light. There were no room darkening shades. So, if you are able to sleep in a fully brightened room it shouldn’t be a problem. There was also a nest or 2 of baby birds living under the roof. Not sure when they leave the nest for good but they tended to get up and started chirping around sunrise (5am) which made sleeping soundly after 5am in the master bedroom a little challenging. The other bedroom was smaller (b/ still a good size) with only 1 window and shades that blocked out the sun. I know that a lot of people prefer a firm/hard mattress but I would consider bringing a foam mattress topper for additional comfort. The kitchen had all the amenities that we needed for our stay and the living room area was very inviting and comfortable. One last thing that didn’t take away from the amazing time we had but did prove to be a bit of an annoyance was the amount of flies that were in the house. When the windows were left open to take advantage of the fresh air/breezes, it appeared that they came in though the small holes in the screens. Needless to say, the fly swatter came in very handy "

  • Fantastic Location. You can walk to Bryant Park,Times Square, Broadway and much more.

"We found the stuidio to be sunny, quiet, clean and comfortable. No deceptions from the description or pictures on the web site.. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had lots of hot water and great water pressure. The kitchen area was small but met our needs. We were able to brew our Peet's coffee every morning before we left the apartment to explore the city. There was no lack of places near by to have a drink, bagel, lunch or dinner. It was just nice to know we had a place to come back and relax. It's definitely better than staying in a cramp hotel room. The doormen were very friendly an welcoming. We felt like we lived there. Tim was quick to answer any questions prior and during our stay. He met us the first day to give us an orientation of the property and area. He gave us a lot of reccomendations on what to do and where to go. He shared his love for the city with us. Thank you, Tim for making our stay enjoyable."
