  • Fantastic house and location!

"We stayed at Marty's Farmhouse for 3 nights, 10 people total. The place has everything you need, and with 4 beds and 2 pullout couches, we were very comfortable. We hung out on the wraparound porch often, reading and relaxing and the kids loved the rope swing. We set up ladderball in the yard, and enjoyed the country air. A perfect location to get to anywhere in the region. If you are looking for a place, stop right now and stay at Marty's!! - Tom in Erie, Pa."

  • Absolutely beautiful house and grounds, impeccable style, cleanliness, amenities, terrific hosts.

"We rented the house for son's commencement w/end at Bard. The house sits on 40 acres of grounds about 1mile from Bard, so it was very convenient for events. The hosts, Harlan and Toby, are charming, gracious, and care a great deal about making your stay memorable. The house is beautifully designed and appointed, it's super clean & practical. Tobey and Harlan even have a caretaker, John, who lives in a cottage on the property, and who is extremely friendly and helpful. The entire experience was brilliant."

  • Rustic, natural beauty and comfort

"The barn was exactly as advertised. It is an authentically restored barn that makes you feel like you're living in the past, but with all the comforts of the present. We would awake each morning and stroll in to Tivoli, which is the most charming little Hamlet, but which also has great coffee and a gourmet food store. The barn has a great kitchen, so we were able to shop for fresh food and cook our own meals. We also built a fire in the pit outside and roasted marshmallows at night. The location is fantastic -- completely secluded and yet only a two minute walk into Tivoli. Bruna was an amazing host and very attentive to our needs. We had a great time. One tip: Beware that this is definitely a restored barn, so if you're staying with another couple, you will hear the floorboards creak when someone moves."
