  • Awesome Time!

"Beautiful home right on the lake, quick driving distances to Cooperstown, as well as both Dreams Park and All Star Village and wonderful owners. What more could you ask for??? We stayed for two consecutive weeks as we had one son playing baseball at Dreams Park and another son playing baseball at All Star Village. We would have loved to stay another week to relax! The first week we were there, we had a bad heat wave with temperatures ranging over 95% and 100% humidity. The house does not have central air although there are many ceiling fans that typically do the job along with the breeze from the lake. Although that first week could have been unbearable with the heat, Susan, the owner, did everything she could possibly do to make our stay more comfortable. She ordered an air conditioner for the master bedroom as well as additional rotating fans. She had them ordered and paid for and would have had someone pick them up and install them, however, we chose to do that ourselves. She really went out of her way to make us happy! We will likely be back in Cooperstown in a year or two for our younger son and we plan on staying here again. Truly 5 star home and service. Thank you Susan!"

  • Absolutely gorgeous, peaceful, sparkling clean retreat tucked in the rolling hills

"What a complete pleasure to stay in unit A of Abner's retreat! This is a real gem of a property! We loved our time here! Alysia and Tom were very welcoming, kind-hearted, and accommodating. The property sits in a tranquil setting on a working farm and large pond. The views are breath-taking with rolling mountains in the background. We enjoyed a roaring fire in the fire pit by the pond, complete with s'mores. The property is incredibly clean, modern, and comfortable. We fully intend on returning, perhaps as soon as next month to catch the changing of the leaves. The proximity to Cooperstown is also a real plus: with a short 20-minute drive, we were in baseball nirvana. Loved this place!!"

  • Amazing, fantastic and beautiful!

"We cannot thank the Boatman's for sharing their wonderful cottage with us while we were back home in upstate New York. The memories we have from this trip at the lake are priceless. When we come back home again we will surely book one of the cottages. Thanks once again, The Kryworuchko and Bodiscomassink Families"

  • Beautifully appointed, very comfortable and perfect for a family reunion

"Pamela and Dave, the owners, could not have been more gracious in welcoming us into their lovely Bed and Breakfast. We were able to utilize the entire first floor for our family reunion and it was so nice to be able to retire to sleep upstairs, all in the same location. And to top it all off, the reunion continued the next morning with a lovely breakfast prepared by the owners. Everyone was thrilled with the venue and the gracious service. Thank you to Pamela and Dave."
