  • Incredible accomodations!

"We have stayed in vacation condos in many locations throughout the East and South. This condo was the most beautiful and the best-equipped ever. The owners graciously left it with plenty of paper products, soap, detergents, even basic food items. In addition, we were greeted with a lovely gift basket of wine, crackers, chocolates and cheese. The space was very generous and clean, the furnishings were attractive and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The view from the large balcony was spectacular! And the huge video library was a hit with our teenager! We will definitely consider returning to this unit when we visit the Finger Lakes next time."

  • Water issues

"Only issue was no running water Monday morning to take showers. Also could not use ensuite showers all because it only had cold water. Not sure why that was but it was somewhat annoying."

  • Wonderful cottage with a fantastic view!

"We spent the week before 4th of July at the Harris-White cottage. We were SO taken with the cottage, property, and gorgeous view! The cottage was clean, comfortable, and filled with everything we needed, including 2 refrigerators which we put to good use! It was roomy for our family of 5, and had plenty of room for visitors we had throughout the week. The property was wonderful, with plenty of parking and room for the kids and dog to run around and play catch. The fire pit was perfect, and the beach was so neat and clean, with crystal clear water. We loved the dock, and the view of the lake was spectacular. We loved the sunrises and at the end of the week we were blessed with a beautiful rainbow after a brief storm. We put the canoes and kayaks to good use, and enjoyed all of our meals at the large table on the wonderful screened in porch. We rented a boat from near-by Smith Brothers Marina, and the cottage was a perfect place to come home to after a fun day on the lake. Any issues we had were promptly responded to by Susan through email, and we were happy to meet Mary and Bob on the day we were leaving. We love the story of the cottage, with 5 generations of the family enjoying it. We are so happy to have found it and hope to come back soon, and often!"

  • Beautiful hidden gem in the Bristol Hills- but beware of the neighbors!

"The house is absolutely beautiful, and you can't beat the view or the property with the ponds and scenic fields. The house is a little off-putting when you arrive though- it is located inside a multi-door garage and doesn't look like a house from where you park. But inside it is clean and well cared for. The only trouble we had was with the driveway. The instructions say to stay to the left (and there's a sign in one fork to keep you on the right road) but the driveway forks again and you may be inclined to follow it up to the house above. DO NOT. This is not the rental. This is the home of one very agitated (and possibly drunk?) woman who will scream at you if you approach her home. You've been warned. Working with the owner was great, she is very responsive to e-mails and provides a nice touch with a Monica's pie in the refrigerator when you arrive. We enjoyed the fire pit on the back patio both nights of our stay and enjoyed our stay immensely."
