  • Great House on a Beautiful Lake

"We completely enjoyed our family vacation at Evergreen on Canandaigua Lake. The house is perfect for a large family. We had 8-10 there during the week. We spent a lot of time on the dock enjoying the water. In the evening there is plenty of room inside for family fun and games. Some of the group went to a concert at the Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center. All of us enjoyed our dinner at Bristol Harbor. We would love to come back."

  • Wonderful Week

"My extended family and I spent the last week in June at this property. We all had a fabulous time! There was plenty of room for us to spread out during the day but yet come together for dinner every night. The lake water provided refreshing dips and access to the water was easy enough so my parents were able to enjoy the water (pack your water shoes if rocks bother your feet). All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy and more then comfortable. My husband's hobby is cooking and the kitchen had every thing he needed. We always bring a few extra cooking implements when we use VRBO houses, but we didn't unpack any of our items for this house except for his knives and Kitchenaid mixer. The owner was very responsive when we were setting up the arrangements. The caretaker came over our first day to make sure everything was running smoothly. The house was immaculate and every appliance worked as it should. The house was close to town, where we enjoyed Rheinblick German Restaurant on our last night, shopped at Casa Italiana (Italian market and deli) and grabbed a pizza from Farro’s Pizzeria. We golfed in Naples, stop by Monica’s Pies (also located in Naples), enjoyed the store at Heron Hill Winery and walked upstream at Grimes Park to see the waterfalls. I expect to return next year and would recommend this home to any one visiting the area."

  • Incredible accomodations!

"We have stayed in vacation condos in many locations throughout the East and South. This condo was the most beautiful and the best-equipped ever. The owners graciously left it with plenty of paper products, soap, detergents, even basic food items. In addition, we were greeted with a lovely gift basket of wine, crackers, chocolates and cheese. The space was very generous and clean, the furnishings were attractive and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The view from the large balcony was spectacular! And the huge video library was a hit with our teenager! We will definitely consider returning to this unit when we visit the Finger Lakes next time."

  • A dream house on the lake

"My family had a 4th of July reunion. Staying at the house there were 9 of us from 6 months to 77 years old. All of the beds and bedding were comfortable and in good condition as were the bathrooms. The caretaker was always available by phone whenever we had a question of any kind. We never felt cramped or crowded. The kitchen was large enough for comfortable family meals many of which we cooked in the kitchen or on the grill. Having two TVs was a nice extra. The indoor pool was perfect for the small children, ages 6 months, 4 and 6 as the lake was a bit challenging for them. But the heated pool was warm and welcoming. We spent a lot of time on the deck in the hot tub and on the dock, watching those of us who were paddle boarding or kayaking, which we rented locally. We also used the canoe provided. Some of the group went for hikes. We took advantage of the improving number of restaurants in Canandaigua, Simply Crepes is nice as is Nolan's. The patio restaurant at the Inn on the Lake was a great place for a large party. On the 4th, my entire family came to celebrate. We had plenty of room to entertain all my sisters and their children. Again people could be inside, outside on the deck, in the pool, in the lake, so many ways to relax. Before we traveled to NY I asked the owner if there were any restrictions, he said "Just treat it like your own home." We tried to do so and to be sure it felt just like that ---only better because we were on Canandaigua Lake."
