  • Spacious, tasteful and comfortable !

"We rented Mockingbird Cottage with another couples for 4 nights in July. It was the perfect place to hang out with good friends, cook, eat in the garden and enjoy our time together. The cottage was tastefully decorated, peaceful and allowed plenty of room to have time alone if you needed it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us...we will be back !!!"

  • Beautiful, relaxing and close to everything

"We just returned from a week at this lake house and it was perfect. Communication with the owner before and during the trip was great. The house is beautiful, close to everything, and very peaceful. Lake views are everywhere, and the house is comfortable and well appointed. We particularly appreciated the use of the kayaks/canoes. They went out every day, and the shallow waters at the south end of the lake are perfect for a quiet paddle. We also really appreciated the "baby proofing" around the outside areas. Latching gates on the stairs and a high stone wall in the grassy area by the lake allowed for some peace of mind with our toddler around the water/stairs. Sunrise on the deck and campfires by the lake were highlights. Check out Kelly's Dockside Cafe for breakfast, the Ithaca Bakery for lunch, and Finger Lakes Boat Rentals for a reasonably priced boat rental delivered right to the dock. We highly recommend this place for a great family vacation!"

  • The perfect lake cottage

"Twin Pines is the best place we’ve stayed on Cayuga—the perfect balance of charm and function. The owners have thought of everything to insure a comfortable stay. The cottage is beautifully situated with gorgeous views from both floors. You never feel far from the lake. The beach is terrific. Plenty of sun, but lots of nice shady spots as well. Great for beach fires and star gazing at night. It is a short drive to Trumansburg for groceries and some really nice restaurants. It's also close to Taughannock Park with its spectacular gorge. We could not have asked for more."

"First time in upstate NY during the summer and it was beautiful!! Kelli was great and easy to work with. Grounds were beautiful, and house was so cute and spotless! Only downfall was that the house didn't have AC so it was a little hot! Will definitely be back to visit Cayuga Lake!"
