  • Beautiful views

"Very appropriate for the house we needed. A few small issues, needs wine glasses and a better wine bottle opener. Would be nice to have small soaps available. We got locked out due to an internet issue, and the owners were easy to get a hold of, but letting us know the code change before we were standing out in the rain would have been good. Driveway/parking is difficult to negotiate."

  • New year's family time

"Beautiful home in a beautiful location! Perfect for a family group. Beds are comfortable for most part(sofa bed needs a comfy cover). Big space and great kitchen. Close to breweries and great skiing/tubing at Greek Peak. Owner is great to deal with. Absolutely recommend for those who want to relax and enjoy the scenery and all the Finger Lakes have to offer"

  • Wooded perch overlooking serene lake.

"The property met our specifications for a relaxing few days visiting Ithaca and the surrounding Finger Lakes region. The house, perched along a steep valley wall down from the main road and hidden in the trees and away from the owners house, offered the peaceful respite we were looking for. It was well appointed with needed amenities and offered its own access to the lake and dock. Our children enjoyed their morning swims in the lake, paddling the coastlines, and s'mores around the fire at night. The owners used technology effectively to be helpful and responsive while affording us privacy. The only drawback we had was noise from the morning commutes on the road up the hill, which simply reminded us we were on vacation each day. We were stunned by the beauty of the gorges and the lakes. Though steep, the gorges were fairly accessible for our small children with some extra monitoring. We also enjoyed the Ithaca Farmers Market for provisions and a dinner during the week, the Corning Glass Museum, and New York ciders at the Finger Lakes Cider House in Trumansburg."

  • exactly what we wanted

"We were in town for a few days and needed a comfortable place to stay with our dogs. This was a perfect house for our needs, exactly across the street from the six mile creek trail."
