  • Perfect size and location

"The online pictures don't do this place justice. It was roomy and clean. I loved the convenience of not having to bring towels or bedding. The fenced in yard up top was great for the dog and the lower yard set up also made it easy to contain our furry family members. You'll have to bring all of your own food, including spices and condiments. We bought replacement paper towels, toilet paper and laundry soap and also left some cleaner and zip lock bags there. Other than these and any additional games (they already have some there), personal items, life jackets for adults, they have just about everything else you should need. The canoe and kayaks are a nice way to explore the lake, which is very large and low on traffic. One note regarding safety: there is a non obvious opening to the left of the gate to go down the stairs to the lake, which my dog found and fell partially down the could have just as easily happened to a small child. We put a cooler there to block it, after we discovered this. Luckily the pooch ended up ok. All in all, this is a fantastic property and I would definitely recommend it and stay here again."

  • Excellent Getaway Spot

"My wife and I stayed here with some of our friends for one of the Winter/Christmas Wine tour at Seneca. This house was a good half hour drive from Seneca, but it was very worth it. We had three couples and there was more than enough space to accommodate. Each couple had their own king bed and bathroom. The house was very clean and well kept. The owners clearly strive to make the experience perfect for their guests. The lake view was beautiful. It was so calm in the winter time. Highly recommend!"

  • Perfect for a family reunion!

"This property is a real gem and the owner, Jamie, was very accommodating. Our stay included 5 adults and 2 adult dogs who came from NC, IL, and NY to spend time together during the holidays. The home was very clean, with an inviting, open floor plan on the main floor. The updated, gorgeous kitchen, living room, and dining area were all over-sized so I can easily see 14 people being comfortable there. We spent many hours cooking (the kitchen was well stocked with spices!), playing games at the table, reading, and enjoying wine we bought at a couple of Seneca Lake wineries (only 20 minutes away). The hot tub at night, with snow softly falling, was a real treat. I highly recommend this property and its customer-centric owner."
