  • Great House / Highly Recommend

"Great property, beautiful and clean. Location is outstanding. Lots to do nearby and in Ithaca. Owners were helpful and accessible at all times. Highly recommend. We plan to rent this property again."

  • Nice Cozy cottage

"Very nice cozy cottage close to Cornell and the finger lakes region. Surprisingly spacious inside, it was very comfortable for our family of four and our medium size dog. About 10 minutes drive from a ton of choices for food at Ithaca commons, Wegmans and other stores close by for groceries and other needs. Well appointed, comfortable beds and furniture, good working wifi. Certainly would recommend for folks visiting this area."

  • Cozy cottage with beautiful views of Cayuga Lake

"Twin Pines was absolutely perfect for our mid-September long weekend getaway. We had easy, clear communication with Ed and Dennis ahead of time, and Dennis was there to greet us and answer any of our questions when we arrived. The house was clean and in order, and well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. The furniture was comfortable and the appliances were all pretty new, and overall the house was very charming and cozy. You can’t beat the location right on the lake – we really enjoyed mornings and evenings on the front porch and the deck. We also enjoyed being within a half hour’s drive of all the nearby places we wanted to visit: Ithaca, Trumansburg, Watkins Glen, and dozens of different wineries. It was also so nice that we were able to bring our dog along – he had a blast. We had a great time here and can’t wait to come back!"

  • Perfect size and location

"The online pictures don't do this place justice. It was roomy and clean. I loved the convenience of not having to bring towels or bedding. The fenced in yard up top was great for the dog and the lower yard set up also made it easy to contain our furry family members. You'll have to bring all of your own food, including spices and condiments. We bought replacement paper towels, toilet paper and laundry soap and also left some cleaner and zip lock bags there. Other than these and any additional games (they already have some there), personal items, life jackets for adults, they have just about everything else you should need. The canoe and kayaks are a nice way to explore the lake, which is very large and low on traffic. One note regarding safety: there is a non obvious opening to the left of the gate to go down the stairs to the lake, which my dog found and fell partially down the hill...it could have just as easily happened to a small child. We put a cooler there to block it, after we discovered this. Luckily the pooch ended up ok. All in all, this is a fantastic property and I would definitely recommend it and stay here again."
