"First time in upstate NY during the summer and it was beautiful!! Kelli was great and easy to work with. Grounds were beautiful, and house was so cute and spotless! Only downfall was that the house didn't have AC so it was a little hot! Will definitely be back to visit Cayuga Lake!"

  • Large Lake House

"Beautiful lake front property. We had a great time on our stay, the views are beautiful and the location and waterfront were terrific with close proximity to multiple activities. The house has a wonderful deck and screened in porch perfect for cocktails and there was plenty of room for our large family. We very much enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back."

  • PERFECT

"The Baldwin house was absolutely perfect for our party of 15, including 4 children. It was the perfect combination of old character with modern updates where you would want them - bathrooms and kitchen. The entire house was immaculately clean. And the pool was amazing!! Very clean, and larger than expected. The outdoor area was very private but just a few blocks from town. We visited Ithaca, Watkins Glen and the gorgeous swimming hole at Enfield Falls. This spot was the perfect place to have a fews days out and about, and a few lazy days by the house pool. I would HIGHLY recommend this property if you are looking to stay and enjoy the beautiful Finger Lakes!!"

  • Cozy, amazing cottage!!

"Review Mockingbird Cottage 1/24/16 This is a long overdue review of this beautiful home! I am currently in the “cottage” (which feels much larger than a cottage, but has all the coziness) for the 3rd time. We originally rented it in August 2014 to bring one of our twin sons to college at Cornell, and have come back to visit several other times. This would have been our sixth visit, but the place is so great it gets booked up really fast, so be on your toes! The house is gorgeous with beautiful art everywhere you turn, high end linens on all the beds, and whimsical antique touches throughout. The kitchen is large and fantastic to cook in with all the necessities and more. They have a brilliant cupboard filled with coffees and teas and giant mugs, which is particularly important when you get in at 9pm and there is snow everywhere! The dining room is lovely looking out on the backyard, which is a scene from Currier and Ives in the winter and a breathtaking pastoral wonderland in the summer. Old red barn! The living room is great with a gas log stove, large couches, a bookshelf full of DVDs and another bookshelf full of books! The downstairs has its own family room with two bedrooms which is great for kids. It has a fireplace and TV (which our boys used to set up their gaming system). The master bedroom upstairs has a delicious bed with gorgeous linens and beautiful original built-in wood closets and drawers. Waking up to the gorgeous view of the back acreage is a delight—in the fall it is lush and green, in the winter a carpet of diamond white snow. Of course the landlords of the VRBO houses are what really make the difference between a wonderful stay and a mediocre visit and Suzanne & Tim are wonderful, responsive owners. They live just around the corner and can respond to anything you need help with right away. They are very kind and welcoming and will insure that your stay is delightful!"
