  • Beautiful lakefront getaway

"We stayed at this beautiful lake home for a long weekend. Upon pulling into the driveway we immediately felt the relaxation and privacy of the property. The house was the perfect size for 2, not too big not too small, but could easily accommodate more people if needed. We spent a lot of time out and about in Ithaca and the surrounding parks (Buttermilk Falls and Taughannock Falls are a must see!) but the house was great to come home to after a long day and enjoy some time around the fire pit, sitting by the lake, or cooking in the large and well equipped kitchen. The house has everything you need to feel comfortable. Waking up each morning with a view of the lake can't be beat. Jennifer was very easy to contact with any questions and has done a wonderful job of making the home a true getaway."

  • Lovely retreat in Autumn

"We stayed at Krassimira Woods the first week in October - saw the leaves changing throughout the week. The house was perfect for our group of sisters and sisters-in-law - not quite ready to hike the trail through the forest, but spectacular for cooking and dining and gazing at the lake through the grandest picture windows ever! (Not to forget the dock, the fire pit, the deck, so much more). Beautiful!"

  • Absolutely stunning view of the lake

"What a great place to stay with a large group. It is right...I mean right on Cayuga lake. The location is very rural and peaceful, but central to several wineries and parks. About 15 minutes from the historical town of Seneca Falls. There are four outside seating areas, including a table with seating for 8 in the lanai (FL term for screened in patio). There is also a nice fire pit that we unfortunately didn't have time to use. I went with my mother, her two sisters, a good friend of my mother's, and my poor solo-man husband, so it was nice to have the guest house all to ourselves. The property was clean and well maintained. Janice provided very good directions and customer service. The listing was mostly accurate. We had one issue and that was the bottom bunk with the double bed does not have a mattress; instead it was just covered with a thin plastic like pad and a blanket, which rendered it useless to our adult group. It was described as for children, but I guess I would recommend moving one of the real futon mattresses, for example the one in the guest house, to the bottom bunk for comfort. All other beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this cottage to others and may stay there again in the future."
