  • Perfect way to ring in 2017!

"Carolyn's place is just the dog friendly get away we needed. 2 couples shared this home with their 4 dogs. The configuration of the home was quite perfect for this scenario, as our 10 month old mastiff puppy needed to have some down time. The Ithaca Dog Park is just a few minutes away, and one of the best parks we have ever taken the pups to. Wish we had something like that in CT! For the humans, lots of awesome places to eat and wineries and cider houses to taste. Highly recommend going to the cafe at Americana winery, we went twice - it was THAT good. The house was perfection, the view was amazing and if you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, the snowy driveway isn't an issue. Highly recommend staying here! Thank you so much."

  • Beautiful

"This past weekend my friends and I had the pleasure of staying here. It is such a beautiful place! The decoration is just lovely. I looked at photos of the other places to stay, and Windswept is the best looking, and it is so clean. I just wish we didn't have to check out by 10, (well, I didn't really want to leave) but definitely we will be back. Thank you so much. Oh, and we forgot the bbq sauce and was greatly surprised that you supplied a complementary bottle. YOU ROCK :o)"

  • Lazy Lake Relaxation and watersports fun.

"Harrison's Hideaway was a great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of life. Direct access to the lake and 2 kayaks and a bunch of floats was great. The gated off yard for the dog which was a bull mastiff was key as well. The house was rustic but there were air conditioners in every room and a separate room woth its own bathroom that had a modern flair,(this was great for the couple and newborn that stayed with us.) There was also a nice yard for a tent to be setup as well. Around the corner a little ways is a winery and a micro- brewery to hang out and grab some sandwiches, drink some wine. Aurora is a 10 min drive away and has some good gourmet shops and a tavern with really good food. Overall we had a great 5 days and the owners were very accommodating and answered any questions we had immediately. Definately going back next year."

  • We had a lovely time in a beautiful location!

"This was a perfect get away where we felt welcomed and given our privacy. Our dogs were comfortable too. This is well-located with beauriful views to Cornell and over Cauuga lake. The waterfall in the backyard is a great sound back drop and trails nearby to other falls and great hiking. Theresa was responsive the few times we needed anything and was a perfect host. She let us know she could be helpful with information if needed and let us be as for us, we were happy in our own. Ithaca is gorges and this was a great way to share my old haunts with my husband d and fur boys!"
