  • Wonderful cottage with a fantastic view!

"We spent the week before 4th of July at the Harris-White cottage. We were SO taken with the cottage, property, and gorgeous view! The cottage was clean, comfortable, and filled with everything we needed, including 2 refrigerators which we put to good use! It was roomy for our family of 5, and had plenty of room for visitors we had throughout the week. The property was wonderful, with plenty of parking and room for the kids and dog to run around and play catch. The fire pit was perfect, and the beach was so neat and clean, with crystal clear water. We loved the dock, and the view of the lake was spectacular. We loved the sunrises and at the end of the week we were blessed with a beautiful rainbow after a brief storm. We put the canoes and kayaks to good use, and enjoyed all of our meals at the large table on the wonderful screened in porch. We rented a boat from near-by Smith Brothers Marina, and the cottage was a perfect place to come home to after a fun day on the lake. Any issues we had were promptly responded to by Susan through email, and we were happy to meet Mary and Bob on the day we were leaving. We love the story of the cottage, with 5 generations of the family enjoying it. We are so happy to have found it and hope to come back soon, and often!"

  • Last minute summer vacation & birthday celebration

"Our stay at the Overlook Cabin was highly enjoyable and relaxing! Mike was very accommodating and easy to work with for renting this property. The cabin is set back from the road surrounded by a large grassy yard and then woods, secluding it from neighbors. The cabin was clean upon arrival and the bedrooms were spacious. The location of the cabin is nice especially since you could visit all of the major wineries on the Keuka Lake wine trail in one day. When we went, we got a late start (left around 1 p.m.) but still were able to visit almost all of the wineries on the map. The road is somewhat quiet and allowed for some fun morning jogs. Also, the cabin is only about a 10-15 minute drive to the village of Penn Yan where there is a Rite Aid, Tops supermarket, Aldis, and Walgreens. The hot tub and fire pit were both nice for spending time during the cool evenings. The side yard was particularly large and we used it to play football, KanJam, and bocce ball. Although not lake front, nor with direct lake access, you can see Keuka Lake from the front porch. Also, Keuka State Park is less than a 10 minute drive away and has swimming. We went there for a few hours on a Friday and paid $7 for parking one car. There was a playground for children, outdoor grills, and swimming with lifeguards complete with a dock you can jump/dive off with a depth of at least 10 feet. We had a great time and would definitely consider renting this property again in the future."

  • Friends getaway

"We are a group of 8 friends. We did a two night stay at this wonderful vacation home. I have to say, all of us were super impressed with the property and the facilities provided. We did day trips to Letchworth state park and Watkins Glen and this was perfectly midway between these two places. Laurel was very easy to work with and was prompt in replying back to any questions we had. Special thanks to her for easing out the process of booking :) Each of us have a favorite part of the house. I personally loved the Sun room and Kitchen island. We also took the recommendations for ice cream - Lynnie Lou's and pie - Monica's from the booklet of information that was provided, and they were the best. We would happily refer this property to our friends who plan to vacation at finger lakes."

  • Lakecrest Manor

"Lakecrest Manor was a wonderful , well kept jewel of the finger lakes. The cottages are well maintained, everything worked well. The beach is large enough for any lakeside purpose, the decks and patios were large enough and provided nice views of the lake. We will rent again."
