  • Loved everything about the Lakehouse

"What a perfect place! Tons of outside seating areas, barbecue grill, balcony over looking the gorgeous Waneta lake. Two kitchens for entertaining, close to Waneta Inn for a great meal! Watkins Glen and Hammondsport nearby for shopping! Peaceful and serene! Can't wait to stay again! Thank you Sharon and Linda!"

  • Wonderful experience

"We have been vacationing at Keuka Lake for the past four years. I have to say the Water's Edge helped to make our recent two week stay one of the most memorable vacations we have ever had. This home has been recently remodeled with high end appliances, beautiful master bath and bedroom, views of the lake from every room - even the bathroom. The deck is actually OVER the lake. The dock is wide enough at the end for several chairs and had whips for our boat. It was a perfect location - near the college, close to Penn Yan and Seneca Farms Ice Cream, the Switz Inn, and even Hammondsport is only a short drive. The street is very quiet and fairly level, great for walks and bicycling. Our grandchildren visited over the weekend - we had a blast boating, tubing, fishing, swimming, catching crayfish, hiking, grilling, smores at the firepit, and watching the moon rise on the deck. I would recommend this property without reservation."

  • Perfect for us!!!

"What a great week we had. This cabin was perfectly set up for us. My son, his wife and son had their private suites in the lower level. We had the master suite upstairs. Easy access to Keuka Lake State Park, great swimming for the little guy. We picked blueberries and raspberries, visited the Museum of Glass in Corning and hiked a few glens. And of course, we visited a few breweries and wineries. In the evening we enjoyed grill outs and campfires including our grandson's first marshmallow cooked on the campfire. Everything was easy. The locals were very welcoming. A great part of America. We will be back."

  • Excellent location. Anemities were great. Beautiful views of the lake and area. Good location.

"We enjoyed our stay and loved sitting out on the deck every morning and evening. Our major concerns was the cleanliness. The rugs in the bathrooms were filthy and smelled. The main rugs were hard to clean with the vacuum provided and it was not emptied, my guess in a long time. Under the cushions of the couches there was dirt. A broom would have been helpful for general clean up. The back section of the bench table was dusty. The dock was adequate for any type of leisure boat and we enjoyed fishing off the dock. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Thank you."
