  • Great Stay at Keuka this summer

"Fantastic views and a house that lives bigger than it looks. Plenty of space for entire family of 7 adults and 4 kids. If your modest or prefer privacy, the master loft may not be for you, but I loved the view straight out to the lake with the strategically place windows and the open bath made the room feel larger. The deck was large and well put together and great lights at night. The large umbrella kept us cool in the afternoon. Bob was a great host and was there to check us in and checked back with me several times throughout the week to ensure everything went well. We would definitely go back!"

  • Beautiful and peaceful

"This was all we hoped for and more. The setting is magnificent - right on the lake with beautiful views from sunrise to sunset and late into the night. The house is extremely comfortable, well maintained, comfortable. They seemed to think of all the details that people overlook like reading lights, good cookware, comfortable chairs. My only preference would be for traditional coffee making options (where we can bring our own favorite brands ground) instead of Keuring cups. Thank you for a lovely stay. A few days more would have been even more ideal."

"The Seneca Lake two-story cottage is very well stocked, clean and very nicely decorated. Steps lead to a deck overlooking the Lake. There is a well built pier/dock. It would be helpful to have a ladder from the pier to get into the water for swimming as there is a wooden seawall that is tough to climb over and swim from the shore. It was very hot while we were at the cottage but the window air conditioners and fan do a good job of keeping the place cool. There was a big thunderstorm while we were there, the power went out and the neighbor person came by to see if we had flashlights, etc. It seems like a very nice settled community with neighbors who look out for each other. We had called the owner to request a patio umbrella and one was delivered quickly. There is room for two cars to park easily. Otherwise, it is a bit of a challenge as the access road is quite crowded with boat trailers, etc. There is a train that travels between the house and the main highway. It comes by three times a week, is not particularly noisy but a bit of a surprise. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and apparently others did also, according to the guest book."

  • An enjoyable family vacation.

"Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation. The house was beautiful, warm and inviting. We happened to hit the peak of the falls colors, a sight that is only understood if seen in person. I could have stayed in the house all week. It had a breathtaking view of the sunrise over the lake, a spectacular view of the next door neighbors horses as well as very close to wineries. It gave us an opportunity to enjoy my family for the week. we really enjoyed ourselves."
