  • Great place for a group

"We stayed here in February. Sadly, for a funeral. This house was about the same cost as getting a few rooms at the local hotel, but you can cook here! Looking at the lake with the ice and snow around, super cool. I had my extended family and the house was perfect. We even brought TP, shampoo and soap and needed none of it. Everything was there for our stay. Very nice linens on the beds as well. Rochester is my bride's hometown and I can see us at this house again and again! Maybe in the summer so we can stick a toe in that beautiful lake Ontario. Just outstanding..."

  • Well equipped and comfortable stay

"Guys weekend fishing charter. Sarah did a great job with communication and providing all needs. House is comfortable and well equipped with household items to minimize nuisance shopping. Had great weather, and great fishing with CrazyYankeeSportfishing.Com. Thanks!"

  • Uniquely Charming and Welcoming

"After a seven hour journey, we were tired and out of sorts. However we received such a warm and gracious welcome from our hostess, Jin, we were able to settle in and make ourselves immediately comfortable. The house is uniquely charming and exudes peace and tranquility. Our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter and I rocked and watched a gentle snow fall in the softly lit garden through a wall of windows as dawn approached the next morning. Meanwhile, her mom and dad enjoyed the privacy and luxury of sleeping in late in the private suite separated by a covered walkway. Daylight revealed the beauty of the woodland setting and landscaping, and we were enthralled with the deer family we could watch through the trees as we ate breakfast each morning. We look forward to visiting in the summer when all the green revisits the location and we can make use of the screened dining patio overlooking the woods. The location was ideal because it was off the NY State Thruway, close to 490, 590 and 390 and gave us easy access to our upstate NY family. It is also close to shopping, entertainment and restaurants."
