  • A wonderful choice for a special occasion

"We were looking for a home close to Emerson Park that was large enough to host a party for 40 people. Our son was married over labor day weekend and we hosted the rehearsal party at this home. It was a fabulous setting for the party. The kitchen space was great for the catered event. Our guests were able to spread out both inside and out. The photographer came to the home for wedding day pictures, and the lakeside setting made for extraordinary pictures to mark the event. Joy was great to work, she responded promptly to our questions. The perfect choice for any event or vacation."

  • Beautiful Lakehouse for Gatherings

"We had a wonderful time during our 1st time visit to this cottage on Skaneateles Lake. Without a doubt, the accommodations here exceeded our expectations. Before we even arrived, Ian made sure all our questions and concerns were addressed in a very professional and friendly manner. We had an opportunity to meet Paulette, the housekeeper, and Steve who maintains and keeps the cottage running smoothly. The panoramic sweeping views of the lake from the main floor, the master bedroom and decks are what we remember the most. The very workable and well-equipped kitchen with 2 separate sink areas allowed us to easily have several people working to prepare meals. The house was clean, beds were adequately comfortable (we did bring our own pillows) and plenty of fresh bath towels and beach towels were provided. Seeing the sun rise from bed, any of the decks or the dock was a beautiful way to start each day. Morning coffee and/or yoga on the dock was lovely! We loved the walk-in master bath shower with a full view window looking through the bedroom to the lake however some could feel it lacks privacy. There were two kayaks which we enjoyed (although we did not have lifejackets for them). There is a marina about 20 minutes away where we rented a pontoon boat for a fun day on the water and a paddle board another day. The lake itself for boating or swimming is exceptionally beautiful and clean. We also enjoyed walks on the road where we could stretch our legs and take in a few different views of the lake. We did have a dishwasher issue and Steve showed up within 15 minutes to resolve it. There were only a couple items we found lacking which were no cloths rod in the second bedroom (queen) as well as no lighting for the steps down to the dock at night. We understand there are currently plans in the works to complete both. In the meantime, bring flashlights to get to the dock since it’s a nice place to spend an evening - either by the fire pit (plenty of wood provided) or for stargazing (we were fortunate enough to see some amazing shooting stars). Overall we would definitely recommend this rental!"

  • Our Fitst Trip to the Finger Lakes!

"We really enjoyed our stay at Camp Onondaga! It's was our family's first trip to the Finger Lakes and the scenery was gorgeous. The cabin was warm, inviting, and honestly really neat. We happened to be down during an exxeptionally hot period and the second floor air conditioner really helped keep the 2nd floor cool. The back deck was wonderful at night to watch the stars and just chat with the kids. Ann Marie and Frank are nicest people and sent us off with ice pops! My little 5 year old daughter said, "I love them - can we see them soon?"! as we pulled away! Great time at a great place!"

  • Not to be believed

"This property was overwhelming. It seemed to go on forever, and every inch was completely thought out, and tastefully done. Four couples couples could share this house and have their privacy as well. The kitchen was high end, with a greenhouse window popped out on one side, and had a spectacular view of the lake. The bedrooms were large and the beds comfortable. The area behind the house was lovely with gazebo seating. Wineries were in easy reach as were some excellent restaurants. Dealing with Jamie was very pleasant and very easy. We were talking about coming back even before we left. This is one special place."
