  • Lazy Lake Relaxation and watersports fun.

"Harrison's Hideaway was a great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of life. Direct access to the lake and 2 kayaks and a bunch of floats was great. The gated off yard for the dog which was a bull mastiff was key as well. The house was rustic but there were air conditioners in every room and a separate room woth its own bathroom that had a modern flair,(this was great for the couple and newborn that stayed with us.) There was also a nice yard for a tent to be setup as well. Around the corner a little ways is a winery and a micro- brewery to hang out and grab some sandwiches, drink some wine. Aurora is a 10 min drive away and has some good gourmet shops and a tavern with really good food. Overall we had a great 5 days and the owners were very accommodating and answered any questions we had immediately. Definately going back next year."

  • Skaneateles Lake Luxury Rental

"This is a wonderful rental home for a large family. The home is as pictured, clean and very well appointed. We were only in town for a long weekend at a family wedding so did not use many of the amenities, however they are numerous. Skaneateles Lake is a beautiful pristine lake in the Finger Lakes region of NY State. There are fine restaurants nearby ( we chose The Sherwood Inn one night), boutique shopping as well as boat rides and apple orchards for the more adventurous, but sitting and looking at the lake from the yard is lovely as well. If you are planning a family vacation, wedding weekend like us or maybe a reunion with friends this house will fit the bill. Be aware this is listed as a luxury rental. The home is in an associated neighborhood and does come with many covenants on its usage. Some are standard for a rental, but some we found a little excessive. Be sure you are willing to abide by them before you commit. No shoes in the house (hard wood floors) and restrictions on using the towels for make up removal ( perhaps some dark towels should be provided?) are two examples. Wherever your travels take you, have a wonderful time."

  • Spectacular and Cozy

"We had such a wonderful time. The house is located only a few short steps into the picturesque Village of Skaneateles. The layout of the home was perfect an open floor plan on the main level, the master bedroom on the main floor and the additional bedrooms upstairs. The yard is a ideal size for a gathering. The host was more than accommodating. Bring your bicycles, fishing rods and enjoy!"

  • Best place on Skaneateles

"We've been vacationing in the summer on Skaneateles lake for years and have stayed in many different homes. Paul's Lodge is our favorite. We liked it so much that we signed a three year contract! Can't wait to go back"
