  • A fantastic cottage!

"The cottage was perfect for 2 couples on a wine-touring Easter weekend. The location is great with a lovely front deck with a view of the lake. The cottage is well-equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Denise responded to all inquiries promptly and was a pleasure to deal with. We will be back!"

  • Awsome house in an equally awesome location with an equally awesome host

"It was just unbelievable. This was our first vacation style visit to Ithaca to see my son studying at Cornell. So we really wanted a house for 5 of us. We checked a bunch of places in and around Ithaca and ended up with this house based on our interaction with Amy over emails. She was just pleasant to deal with. Then after reaching there we were pleasantly surprised once again to see Amy waiting for us to give a tour of the place with couple of really nice bottles of wine, muffins and bagels sitting on the kitchen counter. House was Victorian style and extremely well maintained and furnished. It was on a 5 acre lot with plenty of nature all around. Good to see deer coming in the back yard for the apples. For our kids we did really want to cook a little and the kitchen ended up as one of the best places in the house for all of us to hang out and do some cooking. My wife loved exercising while watching beautiful fall colors form the bedroom windows. We all enjoyed a lot. Amy was extremely nice to provide good information on hiking, restaurants and wineries around the area as well. For sure we will go again for my son's graduation if I am able to find the house available. Once again thanks for an awesome experience to both Amy and Andreas."

  • Fabulous view over the lake in a home that has been wonderfully updated!

"Highly recommend staying here! House is right on the lake. Watched beautiful sunrise over the lake. Great boat dock with table to sit around at the end of the dock. Nice fire pit right next to the lake to sit and listen to the water with a glass of wine. House is completely updated. Plenty of room for 3 couples. Owners are so friendly and came over just to say hi and make sure we were all okay. Other then the beds being a little uncomfortable but still acceptable, and the unpaved road getting down to it, I would highly recommend staying here! We will definitely be coming back to this house next time we are there!"

  • Beautiful property with pool - walk to restaurants, live music and shopping in Trumansburg

"Our group was made up of 4 adults and 3 children aged 8,9 and 14 coming from Canada and France. Arrival was super easy - Christine provided key less entry code which gives you and your group the flexibility of arriving at time convenient to you. During the stay, it also made it easy to have people do what they wanted without worrying of who would have the key and time meeting back at the house. Christine called us to check everything was ok. The pictures on the website are a true representation of the house - the terasse / covered patio sat our group of 7 very easily and it was a godsend the nights were we had rain. We could still enjoy dinner outside. The kitchen is small and a bit dark (no windows) but very functional - you have everything you need to cook meals for a large family/group - bbq, pizza, there is even a s'mores maker and a ice cream maker - plenty to bake as well - not that we had time to. Conveniently there is a grocery store and a wine store less than 5 minutes by car. There is a gas station within walking distance if your forgot milk. You can walk to Trumansburg to restaurants. Ithaca is 20 minutes away by car. There is a school across the street with tennis courts, basket. All courts and a large play ground for kids. We kept busy for the all week between swimming in the pool to start or end the day and exploring this wonderful region. We hiked the trail to Taughannock falls state parks - 1.6 miles there and back. Then we hiked Robert Treman state park with Lucifer falls. We enjoyed dinners at little Venice in Trumansburg - they will take you gladly for dinner until 10pm. We enjoyed live music at the Rongovian Ambassy. We visited Ithaca, Cornell university. We had lunch at dano's Heuriger on Seneca and tasted local wines from Ravine's, Damiani's, Wagner, Standing stone's vineyards. We even enjoyed the local fair held in Trumansburg at the end of August. One our last day, part of our groups visited Watkings Glen state park while we had to sadly head back to Toronto. We will be back to the finger lakes area and based on group size would likely stay at Christine's house again. It is central and within short distance from everything. A perfect location to visit and enjoy what the finger lakes have to offer. I can't believe we live so close (less than 5 hrs) and had never visited. Thank you Christine for your wonderful hospitality and sharing your beautiful property with us. We enjoyed it tremendously. The Delivuk & Perez families."
