  • Quiet setting

"If you are looking for a private, quiet place this is it. The farmhouse has ample room in and out for a large party, which we had and the owner was more than accommodating with our group of 13. It is a big plus that dogs are allowed. Mine enjoyed running through the yard and creek. We enjoyed spending time at the creek and sitting by the fire pit. The location is near all the small towns, so getting to places is no big deal. The house was pretty clean but we did need to clean the grill before using it. I would love to be here to see the fall foliage!"

  • Everything you need. Loved it.

"Just got back from great weekend. This house has everything you need whether you're staying in for dinner or heading out. After long hot days at the track it was nice to be able to come home and unwind. Living room is nice and open lots of seating. Don't go to Bentley s for dinner, it is close but food was horrendous, take the ride into Saratoga and try Maestro, price was $10 more per couple but 5star compared to no stars. Owners are super easy to work with can't wait to come back."

  • Wonderful farm, great visit.

"How many times have we pulled into a guesthouse only to discover that we'll be listening to road noise all night long? Tim and Beth's farm isn't like that. It's deep country quiet and dazzling stars at night. We've stayed in the yurt and in Mr. Ed's Cabin and both were comfortable. Also, have the breakfast at least one time during your stay, because Tim and Beth are fun to talk to. There's also abundant bird life, lovely wildflowers. The yurt has a porch from which you can watch the sunset, which on the first night of our stay was gorgeous. All the equipment worked fine and tho the Yurt got a bit hot during the day, as we expected it would do, it cooled off just fine at night. The creek on the property is not truly swimmable, but it's good spot to sit and cool off. There is an actual swimming hole, very pretty, just a few minutes' drive away. Go there and talk to the locals. It's fun! I just hope I can visit again soon."

  • Magnificent Lake House

"My family and I made such wonderful memories at this house. It was immaculate-so clean and had beautiful updates. The beds were very comfortable and a substantial amount of linens and towels were provided. You truly do not need to bring anything but a bathing suit. We had 9 children ranging from ages 1-11. They had the best time and the lake was very safe. In fact, we preferred Lake Hadlock over Lake George. It was the perfect size to swim, jet ski, kayak and just relax. At night it's the perfect spot to light a fire, roast smores and look at the stars. The village of Lake George is close enough to enjoy as well. We hope to return next summer. Compared to all of the homes on the lake, this one is the one you want! Thanks Judie!"
