  • Wonderful farm, great visit.

"How many times have we pulled into a guesthouse only to discover that we'll be listening to road noise all night long? Tim and Beth's farm isn't like that. It's deep country quiet and dazzling stars at night. We've stayed in the yurt and in Mr. Ed's Cabin and both were comfortable. Also, have the breakfast at least one time during your stay, because Tim and Beth are fun to talk to. There's also abundant bird life, lovely wildflowers. The yurt has a porch from which you can watch the sunset, which on the first night of our stay was gorgeous. All the equipment worked fine and tho the Yurt got a bit hot during the day, as we expected it would do, it cooled off just fine at night. The creek on the property is not truly swimmable, but it's good spot to sit and cool off. There is an actual swimming hole, very pretty, just a few minutes' drive away. Go there and talk to the locals. It's fun! I just hope I can visit again soon."

  • Good space and terrific pond - owners very helpful

"The main living area is very nice, with high ceilings, bright floors and good furniture, and lots of windows. the dining area had a big dining table with good seating (for 8 I think). the loft TV room and ping-pong table was good. very private setting in the woods. The back patio with the gas grill and fireplace was rustic, but very comfortable for evening meals. the kitchen was modest, with a small refrigerator, tiny dishwasher and little counterspace. limited glassware (eg few wine glasses). no central AC, but window AC units in 3 bedrooms. the pond was great for playing with kids 10-15 yrs. old. our dogs were permitted on the property, but had to stay outside."

  • Nice house, Nice spot

"We were a bunch of friend going to the Catskills for a bike week. This hous was a perfect spot, clean, full of all we needed. The owner was very helpful and receiving. It's an old house with a lot of charm and good improvement were done to keep it up to date. We were 10 of us (3 couples + 4 solos) for that it was a bit thight for sleep, you need not to be too picky on intimacy, in our case it was ok. Would recommend it more for 8 people."

  • Woodstock Magic

"Secluded but not remote, modern but cozy, eat-off-the-floors clean with a well-stocked kitchen and a wrap-around deck with gorgeous views of rustling trees, Sage is a magical cabin in the woods. From higher-tech touches like a CD/iPod stereo, cable TV and Netflix to smaller touches like plenty of extra towels , up-to-date travel guides and the right kind of coffee filters, Mirav has thought of everything necessary to make guests happy. Mine was a mother-daughter trip so we brought an inflatable bed and it fit perfectly in the bedroom. There is a pull-out sofa, but there is so much sun in the main room that it'd be hard to sleep in there. Of course, the sun is not a bad thing. The many windows brought the outdoors inside. Lots to do in the area: Horseback riding at Payne Too Farm in New Paltz, sailing with Captain Jerome's Tivoli Sailing charters in Kingtston, Opus 40 sculpture garden in Saugerties. And so many restaurants: Red Onion and New World Home Cooking in Saugerties, Oriole9 in Woodstock (actually not a tourist trap) and many more. We were sad to leave and will be back soon!"
