  • Idyllic setting for a Long Weekend Getaway

"The home was a perfect location for getting away from it all, yet being convenient to shopping and dining in Great Barrington. The beds were very comfortable and the views spectacular. We had every intention of going out to dinner our first night, but were so captivated by the views from the front deck we sat back and enjoyed. We spent our days exploring the several towns within an easy drive. It was a relaxing weekend and we hope to come back and stay here again!"

  • Beautiful house in a quaint town!

"We stayed Columbus day weekend at this property (a group of couples and small children) and had a wonderful time. The house is well kept, and very large and gorgeous, loved that everyone had their own bathroom. Chrissy made sure we had everything we needed, left food for breakfast and everything was clean and well kept. We really felt right at home and would definitely stay at the house again if we were in the area. The Berkshires are absolutely beautiful in the fall!"

  • Great Location

"The location is great- just a short walk to the Stockbridge Bowl/ Town Beach. It is a great location for Tanglewood as Lion's Gate parking is right up the road. Lenox restaurants are 5 minutes away. The house is as advertised, and the owner was very accessible to us. Would highly recommend."

  • Wonderful relaxing week in the country!

"The week we spent at this lovely hideaway was the highlight of our summer! Lex, the owner, was so welcoming and did everything to ensure our comfort, showing us around on arrival and providing personal written guides to the house and surrounding spots as well as local maps and guidebooks. The location is ideal, in a secluded clearing in the woods on 2 dead ends yet with easy access to town, rolling farmland, and nearby Hudson and Great Barrington. The house itself is cozy yet modern, open, and comfortable with high sloping ceilings in every room and nothing but green out every window highlighting the natural setting. There was everything we needed to prepare and serve meals indoors or out, and a wonderful eclectic library, too. We had such a relaxing time visiting with friends and family in the area, hiking, swimming in the nearby lake or just staying in to knit or watch the Olympics. We would definitely love to stay here again."
