  • Wonderfully restored home

"For an older home this is beautifully restored and decorated. We showed up with two young kids in the winter and the place was warm and comfortable and well stocked with kids toys, games and sleds to use on the big property. I highly recommend it."

  • Comfy Catskill country home.

"My husband and I spent Fri-Sun at Brian's home to get out of the city for a weekend and we are so glad we did. After a day of hiking in nearby Lake Minnewaska, we warmed up under the cashmere blankets watching the lake outside the living room window. The bedrooms are all beautifully decorated, with vintage touches throughout, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and bake all weekend. I must mention the shower head and water pressure was fantastic, and since I am picky about my showers, this can be important! The beauty of his home surpassed our expectations. So close to the city ( no traffic on Sunday afternoon returning to the city from Pine Bush!) and yet the perfect place to retreat to. Thank you Brian!"

  • A lovely relaxing weekend

"Seven of us were at Broadhead House for a long New Year's weekend. The house was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed and Bruce was very responsive to our requests. We hiked in the Mohunk Preserve, which the dog especially loved, ate and played pool at Bacchus and brunched at Kitchenette, both yummy and friendly. The kitchen was well stocked (no food processor, but there was a blender) and allowed all of us to cook our huge New Year's meal at the same time. We had a wonderful time!"

  • Wonderful farm, great visit.

"How many times have we pulled into a guesthouse only to discover that we'll be listening to road noise all night long? Tim and Beth's farm isn't like that. It's deep country quiet and dazzling stars at night. We've stayed in the yurt and in Mr. Ed's Cabin and both were comfortable. Also, have the breakfast at least one time during your stay, because Tim and Beth are fun to talk to. There's also abundant bird life, lovely wildflowers. The yurt has a porch from which you can watch the sunset, which on the first night of our stay was gorgeous. All the equipment worked fine and tho the Yurt got a bit hot during the day, as we expected it would do, it cooled off just fine at night. The creek on the property is not truly swimmable, but it's good spot to sit and cool off. There is an actual swimming hole, very pretty, just a few minutes' drive away. Go there and talk to the locals. It's fun! I just hope I can visit again soon."
