  • As good as it gets!

"I rented out this lodge for my best friends bachelorette party and it was even better than I imagined! The inside is stunning, clean, up to date and perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is huge, the beds are very comfortable and the scenery around the property is breathtaking. The owner is very nice and helpful. We had an A+ experience and I would definitely recommend staying here!"

  • Lovely

"We have returned to this wonderful cottage every fall for four years. It's clean and comfortable and charming. We love the surrounding countryside too. I highly recommend it for a secluded get away."

  • birthday get-away to the country

"When you first walk into this lovely guest house, you are immediately taken with the spaciousness and light filling the room from the many windows and the sun coming through the skylights. The closets in the guest house have a stylishly, Franklyn Lloyd Wright, etched design on glass and the King sleigh bed enhances the lay-out of the guest house. The bathroom has an incredible jacuzzi tub and it a great room conducive to a soothing and relaxing evening. We were surprised at the efficiency of the electric heating as the room warmed up in just a few minutes, which was reassuring since it was expected to be a cold weekend. Tanya, our host, was especially gracious and greeted us warmly and left us a bottle of wine to enjoy and familiarized us with the appliances and things to do in the region. The Mill-Norrie State Park had scenic, graveled paths to explore and the movie theatre in Hyde Park had bargain matinee's for $5.00. We ate a fantastic dinner prepared to perfection at Terrapin in Rhinebeck and had a delicious breakfast at the Matchbox Cafe. I would return to this charming guest house with no reservations."
