  • Great Location, Friendly Host

"Apartment is exactly as shown in pictures. Comfortable bed, huge bathroom with large tub. The kitchen is fantastic...fully equipped, so we cooked all weekend. Charlotta is responsive and flexible. We'll definitely be back!"

  • The Perfect Retreat

"Only glowing reviews for this home and the town of Hudson itself. The house fit me and 11 friends comfortably for a long weekend of cooking, grilling, board games, wine tasting, lively debate, beautiful city strolls, and restful sleep. The kitchen and full-floor living room were perfect for our large group, with enough spaces for a person or two to slip away with a book or private conversation. We even had a local yoga instructor come in one morning for a private class for 5-6 of us. Linens, towels, shower amenities etc. were what you'd expect in a fine hotel. The owner was incredibly helpful, gracious, and responsive both before and after our stay and the space cared for as if it were his home. Too many attention worthy shops and restaurants along Warren St. to name. I (and the other eleven) are already thinking about our return. Go!"

  • Perfect autumn weekend getaway in the Hudson Valley

"We came to Hudson to explore the area. The house was a perfect base from which to bike, drive to hikes, walk to the downtown , restaurants and enjoy the river at sunset. As advertised the kitchen was bright and beautiful and very easy to use. The garden even in mid October was full of veggies and herbs that we added to our salads and eggs. The artwork throughout the house was eclectic and fun. As previously reviewed the block that the house is located is in flux. We kept a watchful eye when out after dark but no problems at all."

  • Perfect Winter Weekend

"Could not have been happier with this rental. It's very clean, beautifully decorated, lots of great books & games, a toasty fire place...the list goes on. We made dinner in the well-stocked kitchen, spent the morning in Hudson, and had a delicious (pricey) dinner in town. Love that the house is so close to downtown, but also feels wonderfully remote. I went for a jog on Saturday and probably encountered only 5 cars. Re: Food: Fish & Game was very expensive for dinner; it's a lovely setting, but the food didn't quite justify the cost. Same with Olde Hudson—this is a specialty shop in town that has most groceries, but everything is very $$$. Suggest bringing food from your local grocery or stopping at the Price Chopper. Bonfiglio & Bread, on the other hand, was absolutely delicious and reasonable—definitely go for a light breakfast (& pastries!). Note: You are asked to wash sheets & towels—easy, as there's a new washer and dryer in the basement. But make sure you leave time! Can't wait to return."
