  • Amazing experience and setting

"Booked this house for a family get-together to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday. Our weekend was made so very memorable by this incredible house. There are many stunning details about this wonderful house - the double faced fireplace, the well appointed and stocked kitchen, the windows, and the POOL! We spent the entire weekend cooking, watching activity on the riverfront - wonderful ships and trains passing across the river provided endless entertainment, and paddling around in the pool. Everything was immaculately clean, and all details (towels etc) were beautifully laid out and ready for us to enjoy. We would love to come back. Thank you Shea!"

  • Perfect Property for West Point Commissioning

"Located less than 20 minutes from West Point, this property was a home run for our guests and our family. It is spacious (very!) enough to accommodate many, and allows plenty of opportunity for folks to find a quiet spot to themselves when things get busy or hectic. The setting is gorgeous and peaceful, the home is a treasure, and the staff is perfect - accessible but completely unobtrusive. The house has a professional kitchen and plenty of living spaces. The bedrooms are large and the bathrooms are accommodating. The home has a fascinating history and we all felt like it was an special experience to get to stay there. Our group especially enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and multiple decks for outdoor entertaining. To a person, each guest raved about his stay. The home was warm, clean and inviting and the grounds were perfect for walks. It is very close to Cornwall on Hudson - close enough for a run (literally) to town for the athletes in the crowd. My 80 something parents absolutely adored the place. Our host, Simonetta, was gracious and helpful, and a delight to meet and work with. We all wanted to stay another week!"
