  • Fun and relaxing times at Mr. Ed's Cabin

"We wish we had booked a longer stay. Mr. Ed's Cabin sits on a working farm and is a great spot to get away from the City for a few days. Its very relaxing, and the hosts are welcoming and friendly. I was concerned that being on a farm with hosts and other guests would not be for us. But it was the exact opposite. The hosts really make you feel a part of their farm and then disappear so you can enjoy the sites on the farm. The other guests are also friendly and go about their visit with a lot of joy and curiosity. If you have little ones, it will be fun for them, and gives the parents a reprieve from having to entertain them, as the farm animals and open space provide plenty to view and do. We will be back, and a quick 2 hour drive from the City makes it an easy trip to do."

  • Good space and terrific pond - owners very helpful

"The main living area is very nice, with high ceilings, bright floors and good furniture, and lots of windows. the dining area had a big dining table with good seating (for 8 I think). the loft TV room and ping-pong table was good. very private setting in the woods. The back patio with the gas grill and fireplace was rustic, but very comfortable for evening meals. the kitchen was modest, with a small refrigerator, tiny dishwasher and little counterspace. limited glassware (eg few wine glasses). no central AC, but window AC units in 3 bedrooms. the pond was great for playing with kids 10-15 yrs. old. our dogs were permitted on the property, but had to stay outside."

  • Perfect for families

"We had a great stay at this property. We have small children and they had a blast with all the toys provided. Location of the house is great too with a number of hiking trails close by. Greg is a fantastic host responding to our questions right away and providing lots of good recommendations for things to do on the area. We will certainly consider this house again for a future stay."

  • Perfect retreat

"We were so impressed with the attention to detail and the evident thought and care that has gone into making this house a home. Our family of four (including a two and five year old) had such a relaxing, perfect get away! We're spent most of our time enjoying the outdoors, sitting out on the porch playing board games, watching for bunnies at dusk, reading in the hammock, and even making s'mores in the fire pit under the stars. Or five year old spent loved the tire swing! The kitchen was also a wonderful surprise - very well stocked with utinsels and cookware and we cooked almost every meal as we could not resist the local farm fresh produce. The kids were so happy with the toys and I must have read every book in their bookcase. Such a wonderful home! Thank you for sharing!"
