  • Perfect weekend getaway

"From the minute we pulled up to the home, we were happy! A quiet location, beautiful decorating, and the perfect amount of space to enjoy our 2 night stay. Perfectly situated-close to all of the historic sites Hyde Park/Rhinebeck offers. Ellis (the owner) could not have been more helpful-from giving tips on favorite dining spots, to sending coupons for the fair we attended. We will absolutely be back."

  • Wonderfully charming spot

"We spent time at Le Petit Chateau last year when it was a B&B. Although no longer a B&B, it is still a delightfully beautiful home in a gorgeous area. 5 minutes to the CIA (get take-out lunch there and return to your "home away" to enjoy a "picnic" by the peaceful pond), 10 minutes to the Walkway across the Hudson, and 30 minutes or less in any direction will bring you to all the historic sites in the area. We stayed in the Champagne room with its very comfortable bedding, nicely-designed bathroom, and plenty of room to relax and rest. It was nice to get up when we wanted to, prepare breakfast, go for a walk on the back roads in the area, and enjoy the peace and beauty of the property. Valerie provided great guidance on some places to see and was so helpful with our reserving the house. We were thrilled to be able to spend time at Le Petit Chateau again to celebrate our anniversary and savor time spent in this lovely house, all of its charm, and the beautiful location. Thank you so much for the opportunity to enjoy, relive old memories, and create new ones during our time in Hyde Park."

  • Great getaway

"My family and I wanted to get away from the city life. As I search I found Whaley lake in where the owner calls it Lake Bliss. (Love the name) When we arrived we toured the home and around. We got the top unit in where there is 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen and livingroom. Downstairs there is another unit with 1 bedroom kitchen and livingroom. And also a laundry room. We loved how the home was put together. Very spacious. My family and I knew that we were going to enjoy and have a relaxed time together. We got to do everything. From fishing, swimming, kayaking, boating, grilling, bonfire, and just about everything. It was one of the best getaway we had. The last night we were there a couple came for the bottom unit. They were very friendly. We got to talk, fish together, and grill together. It was a nice time. The owner was also very welcoming and very nice. MR. Robert was always quick to answer questions. Thank you so much Mr. Robert and family for your home. We cant wait to go back."

  • Wonderful Vacation Home!

"The arts and crafts bungalow in New Paltz was great. It was large and well equipped with everything you would need in a home. The owner, Kim, was so helpful, and responded immediately to all of my questions. The front porch is a great place to sit and relax; barbeque on the back patio; and enjoy the large, peaceful yard. We had a great time exploring the neighboring towns but it was nice to have this quaint retreat to come home to!"
