  • Clean, cozy and wonderful

"While I did not have a car during my stay, it was in a perfect location to be able to walk into the town of Red Hook. The house was clean, comfortable, warm, and in a safe neighborhood. The owner was extremely accommodating and I would (and will!) stay here again in a heartbeat! The kitchen has everything you could possible need to cook any kind of meal. It was wonderful to sit in the family room and be able to see into the backyard on sunny days. (Lots of beautiful birds) A 10+ for sure!"

  • Perfect retreat that is close to everything. 100%!

"100% recommendation. I don't see how this house and location could be any better. We were a group of 6 from New York City that wanted a getaway for 4 days in the winter. The home itself is impeccable and was spotless when we arrived. The décor, bathroom, and linens were all very high quality and new - it felt like a high-end hotel when you were in the bedrooms. We spent most of the time in the living room, dining room, kitchen which has a very nice flow and goes right out to the deck and hot tub (which was fantastic for a winter night). The hosts were super responsive from day 1 (we booked months in advance) and we knew if we needed anything they would get it for us. The house has great technology and sound system for watching movies in the living room. Location wise: 20 minute drive to Rhinecliff station. The roads are not busy so an easy drive. 15 minutes to Rhinebeck. About the same to get to Vanderbilt Mansion, FDR Library, etc. We also drove north about 25 minutes to Hudson and spent the day exploring that town. It felt as though everything was a 15-20 minute drive so it is a perfect central location for exploring the entire Hudson River Valley."

  • Comfortable, centrally located, clean and with great character

"Super centrally located, comfortable and with great character; it made our getaway weekend even more special. Only thing to note; the second bedroom is a loft with a steep staircase so not for everyone. But the place is clean and with great character so you may want to be adventurous and overlook this."
