  • Warm, welcoming home

"Four of us stayed during the Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool Festival. We thoroughly enjoyed the house. The kitchen had all we needed and the sleeping areas were comfortable as well. My friends were quite happy with me for finding the perfect home for a fall getaway."

  • Absolutely beautiful house and grounds, impeccable style, cleanliness, amenities, terrific hosts.

"We rented the house for son's commencement w/end at Bard. The house sits on 40 acres of grounds about 1mile from Bard, so it was very convenient for events. The hosts, Harlan and Toby, are charming, gracious, and care a great deal about making your stay memorable. The house is beautifully designed and appointed, it's super clean & practical. Tobey and Harlan even have a caretaker, John, who lives in a cottage on the property, and who is extremely friendly and helpful. The entire experience was brilliant."

  • A Memorable Long Weekend

"From the initial reservation, to several interchanges with Carol, to the actual long weekend at the end of June, this was a marvelous (and surprise) celebration of my wife's 75th birthday. Ten of us -- including our children and grandchildren -- stayed in almost perfect comfort, surrounded by beauty and in a beautiful home. Our three grandchildren would have stayed in the wonderful pool forever if we had permitted it. We all enjoyed the grounds greatly and there is lots to do. With such a large group, two of us had to sleep on the pull out couch in the media room. I do not recommend that. The mattress is hard as a rock and somewhat inclined. Other than that, the accommodations were perfect and Carol could not have been more helpful. She allowed us to come early on Friday and leave late on Monday. Less than two hours from New York City, the house and the grounds have everything one could ask and more. A truly memorable weekend."

  • Lovely farmhouse, exceptional location

"Stella farms is a lovely old farmhouse that sits on one of the most beautiful plots of land in the vicinity. The house is charming and decorated authentically in tasteful and comfortabe antique style: the grounds are gorgeous, with old growth trees, beautiful gardens, and farmland across the quiet road. Pool and amenities are terrific. This is not a new build house with all the trimmings. Rather it is a delightful rustic place for those who want a true weekend in the countryside plus pool and creature comforts."
