  • Wonderfully charming spot

"We spent time at Le Petit Chateau last year when it was a B&B. Although no longer a B&B, it is still a delightfully beautiful home in a gorgeous area. 5 minutes to the CIA (get take-out lunch there and return to your "home away" to enjoy a "picnic" by the peaceful pond), 10 minutes to the Walkway across the Hudson, and 30 minutes or less in any direction will bring you to all the historic sites in the area. We stayed in the Champagne room with its very comfortable bedding, nicely-designed bathroom, and plenty of room to relax and rest. It was nice to get up when we wanted to, prepare breakfast, go for a walk on the back roads in the area, and enjoy the peace and beauty of the property. Valerie provided great guidance on some places to see and was so helpful with our reserving the house. We were thrilled to be able to spend time at Le Petit Chateau again to celebrate our anniversary and savor time spent in this lovely house, all of its charm, and the beautiful location. Thank you so much for the opportunity to enjoy, relive old memories, and create new ones during our time in Hyde Park."

  • Nice house, Nice spot

"We were a bunch of friend going to the Catskills for a bike week. This hous was a perfect spot, clean, full of all we needed. The owner was very helpful and receiving. It's an old house with a lot of charm and good improvement were done to keep it up to date. We were 10 of us (3 couples + 4 solos) for that it was a bit thight for sleep, you need not to be too picky on intimacy, in our case it was ok. Would recommend it more for 8 people."

  • Comfort, Calm, Beauty

"This beautifully situated home is a comfortable oasis. We spent 2 weeks here this summer and wish we had had more time to enjoy the property. The windows in the bedroom make it seem you are sleeping in the woods. The skylights are wonderful for gazing to the heavens. We mainly relaxed and read; cooked in the well stocked kitchen; took lovely walks to the pond so my dog could swim. It is close to all the activities and restaurants available in the Woodstock area, so we could pick and choose if we wanted to retreat or go have the terrific homemade ice cream in town! Karyn was responsive to work with. easy to reach, a pleasure to deal with. We had a wonderful experience and will be back."

  • Quiet and Confortable

"We had a wonderful time at this home! The property was beautiful and very relaxing. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We had two little ones with us that just loved playing with all the toys and reading the books. Also had two dogs that played in the back yard. The weather was perfect,we sat on the back deck and enjoyed the view. After dinner on the grill, my husband and I enjoyed some time in the hot tub. Greg was kind enough to get it running for us even thought it was so early in the year. We really appreciated that. I would recommend this house to anyone with children, pets, and ones who like to relax and enjoy themselves. Hope to visit again!"
