  • Clean and big kitchen

"We rented this place last Dec and I brought another group of friends here again last weekend. Similar to our last visit, the place was clean and we enjoyed the big kitchen. They did move the TV from the living room and placed it inside a cabinet by the dining room (we preferred it to be in the living room). And my friends said that they found lady bugs in the master bedroom - that was not really bothering us but I figured I mention it here. Overall, we enjoyed our stay again."

  • charming Lil Red Cottage

"Our family enjoyed our stay at the Lil Red Cottage. It had everything needed for our family with a stove, refrigerator, large shower and comfortable beds for sleeping. The cottage is small but very nicely decorated with a large deck for cooking out. It is also a short distance to Travel to West Point which is helpful. The host is very nice and accommodated our needs. I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again!"

  • Our visit of New York and USMA

"Kay was a wonderful host. My son described it best when he said he wished all of the homes in our area had as much character as this old world charmer. It truly was like visiting a wealthy uncles country home. I wish we had booked a tour of the nearby Manitoga home right next door. It has wonderful access to the rail system which in just over an hour will get you to New York with an amazing scenic view of the river for most of the time. We also enjoyed it's close access to the United States military Academy where we visited my son. We also happen to hit this house right during prime season colors in October – we will carry forward many wonderful memories for years to come."
